Great find, great tasting continental beer at 5.5% tastes bettter than all the main brand lagers and at £2.57 for 4 330ml cans bargain!!! dodgydave (10) - Stockport, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 11, 2018 Very drinkable. Not much to shout about in terms of aroma, but a clean finish with no unpleasant burp-back that is common at this price bracket. A cheap alternative to Budvar...... p0urmeac0ld0ne (499) - Merthyr Tydfil, WALES - DEC 29, 2017
This is, quite honestly, a cheap French lager. But, (and it's a massive 'but' (giggity?)), this tastes fantastic. Yes, the aftertaste reveals the cheaper, straw / rice type of flavours, but whilst drank straight out of the bottle chilled, was enormously refreshing. Maybe I've had an extra hard day at work? Haha! Also, as mentioned in previous reviews, this is a steal and if you frequent Asda supermarkets in the UK you can get a 500ml bottle for less than a quid. Went great with continental meats and cheese too. Can envision myself downing gallons of this at a barbeque or some such social event. ralphdot (1113) - Billingham, Durham, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2017
5.5% gold in colour with a thin head, not much aroma but the taste was very nice. MeadPupil1 (1) - - SEP 9, 2017 does not count
This beer is a 'Find'. It does not taste all cheap. £1.02 a bottle from Asda. For me it has a great depth of taste and at 5.5% it represents great value for money. Of course it's not in the same realm as more expensive beers but this is a great few quid spent.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A clear golden beer with a mid-sized to small off-white head. Aroma of mild sweet grainy malt, corn. Taste of dry grainy malt, cereals, corn, low bitterness. Erzengel (9895) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - AUG 30, 2017
50cl bottle. Smooth grainy beginning. Sweetish grainy, hints of corn there, malty with not much bitterness. Sessionabel but weak. undercurrent25 (2288) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2017
Pours a blonde colour. Taste is metallic and alcoholic. Just about drinkable but not enjoyable radassace (442) - SCOTLAND - MAY 3, 2017
500ml bottle from Asda. Pours straw with a small white head. Grain, bit of bread and some sour lemon on the nose. Really fizzy. Taste is kind of sour and metallic. There is a bit of grass and breadiness, but its overpowered by a sourness and possibly hop extract, which is rather nasty. I’m only finishing it ’cos it’s cold and it’s been a hot day. zacgillbanks (5726) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JAN 14, 2017
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2017 Bottle from Drinks Express, Low Fell, Gateshead and Asda, Washington. Pale straw coloured with a thin white head. It has a sweet toffee, fruity and slight soapy flavour with a thin sweet finish. Pretty average, but not great considering the high ABV.
