5.5% gold in colour with a thin head, not much aroma but the taste was very nice.

This beer is a 'Find'. It does not taste all cheap. £1.02 a bottle from Asda. For me it has a great depth of taste and at 5.5% it represents great value for money. Of course it's not in the same realm as more expensive beers but this is a great few quid spent.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A clear golden beer with a mid-sized to small off-white head. Aroma of mild sweet grainy malt, corn. Taste of dry grainy malt, cereals, corn, low bitterness.

50cl bottle. Smooth grainy beginning. Sweetish grainy, hints of corn there, malty with not much bitterness. Sessionabel but weak.

Pours a blonde colour. Taste is metallic and alcoholic. Just about drinkable but not enjoyable

500ml bottle from Asda. Pours straw with a small white head. Grain, bit of bread and some sour lemon on the nose. Really fizzy. Taste is kind of sour and metallic. There is a bit of grass and breadiness, but its overpowered by a sourness and possibly hop extract, which is rather nasty. I’m only finishing it ’cos it’s cold and it’s been a hot day.

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2017 Bottle from Drinks Express, Low Fell, Gateshead and Asda, Washington. Pale straw coloured with a thin white head. It has a sweet toffee, fruity and slight soapy flavour with a thin sweet finish. Pretty average, but not great considering the high ABV.

Bottle from Asda. Pours out with a typical pale lager appearance; golden with a stark white reducing head. The taste is quite malty, yeasty and grassy and the slightly higher abv compared to standard domestic lagers is detectable. Overall, this is very easy to drink and has no off flavours but doesn’t offer anything above average.

Bottle from Welfare Supermarket; clear golden amber pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has some skunk and lemon, taste has sweet malts, stale lemon cake, some skunkiness, could have bought 2 pot noodles instead of this.

From Asda. Clean golden colour, thin but long lasting white head. Not much aroma wise, slight cereal and faint hops. Smooth mouthfeel, light malt hops are faint....again! Inoffensive, easily quaffed....had worse!
