Pours hazy brilliant copper color with an off white head . Aroma is sweet caramel malt, citrus, and floral. Flavor is big caramel malt with citrus. Floral notes and pine finish. Thick mouthfeel. There is a lot of malt in this brew. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - JUN 14, 2016
Can from Whole Foods Arlington. Hoppy, citrus nose. Taste of hops aplenty, with nice cactus and hop flavor. Complmented by maltier, caramel flavors. Nice punch finish. GSH1976 (307) - Delaware, USA - MAY 25, 2016
Pours a hazy orange with little head and decent lacing. Aroma is very sweet and has that smell you get with old IPAs. Sure enough the bottom of the can says 2015 and I cannot make out the month. The aroma is dominated by sweet malt and this reminds me more of a barleywine than an imperial IPA. The taste follows the nose and I am sure the lack of freshness does not help. I would never guess this is 85 IBUs. Medium bodied. I will try to revisit this is the future when I can find it fresh. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 27, 2016
12oz can. Small off-white head atop hazy dark amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, pine, some cardboard, light orange. Taste is sweet, boozy, pine/lemon. Medium body, some resin, acidity.

Canned. Orangey pour into spieglau. Malty and citrus with a far amount of pine resin finish . crossovert (13724) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 1, 2016
355ml can. Old rate. This is just some malty garbage, not even worth it with alpine in the market. Christpuncher (3191) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 1, 2016
Malty and hoppy this one comes out hot. Finished nice and bitter with a hop bite. Sort of piney and citruscy. Not a bad local brew. Had at home out of a can Panzuriel (2333) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - JAN 9, 2016
12 oz can obtained through tavour. Champion ICBM Double IPA is a moderately hazy honey amber brew with active bubbles and thin head of small tan foam. Nose is mostly a faint pine hop aroma. Taste is crisp pine hops with good medium roasted malt and a touch of brown sugar sweetness. Body is medium and lively. hershiser2 (3590) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JAN 8, 2016
Can, Wine Warehouse, $2.75.
Pours a very pretty amber with a nice beige head.
Aromas of peach, pine, light caramel, maybe a hint of vanilla.
Taste is strong sweet fruits up front: peach, perhaps, followed by pine, caramel malts, and then (unfortunately) licorice. Their regular IPA is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, the association of the licorice finish kills this one for me.
