COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This bad boy is our darkest and strongest beer to date. Aged for 3 months, this English style revered by Russian royalty uses so much specialty malt that it nearly overloads our mash tun. Roasty and boozy with a smooth sweet finish.

On tap at Sedona. Pours black. Think head. Aromas of dark fruits, vanilla, chocolate, burnt malt. Taste, unfortunately, isn’t as thrilling as the smell. Dark chocolate, coffee, burnt bitter malt.

Aromas of burnt coffee, char, bittersweet baking chocolate. Brown-black, a somewhat lasting, bubbly beige head. Dry, roasty, bitter. Medium-full bodied. A very refreshing imperial stout with dangerous drinkability.

Drake (13728) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 11, 2013
Draft at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown color with a thin head. Good head retention. Aroma of sweet roasted malts, nuts, earthy, faint anise and mild hops. The taste is sweet malts, buts, dried dark fruits and a moderate hop finish. Medium-full bodied. A little mellow for an imperial stout, and quite a nice one.
