100% Finest Malt
ThaiBev stopped production of Archa, Chang Beer, Chang Draught, Chang Light, and Chang Export in 2015. A new product, Chang Classic, was launched, with production shared between ThaiBevs three breweries. The recipe of Chang Classic includes rice, previously only used in the domestic 6.4% version of Chang Beer.
It is not known if Chang Export was ever a different beer to the 5% abv Chang Beer and Chang Draught or simply a re-badge.

Can. A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of grain and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of herbs, straw, and grain, leading to a bitter finish.

0,3 liter fles in Thailand. Redelijk lekker bier. Chang betekent olifant. Het is echt bier van Thailand.

Canned (thanks Kairit!). Pale yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is maize, some grains, slight rubber and mild strange sweet notes. Flavour is rather similar, but also has some strange mild fruity notes. Easy to drink, and somewhat in balance. Probably better with spiced food than as is.

ALLOVATE (2936) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 25, 2012
This one produced up a pale gold with evident chill haze and filled with fine carbonation. Head holds for all of a minute but it may have just been the glass at the hotel. Sweet and tangy pear drops and caramelised lemon, whole grain cereal and an odd musty note make up the aroma. Gassy; heavy on the CO2 so very much needs a coupla swirls to rid the annoyance. Malt base then floral hops with a quenching bitterness and clean, crisp finish. Straightline and good for a Thai lager. Unobtrusive, refreshing and easy drinking. Perfect location beer! (64cL, no date stamp, Big 1 Super Market, Bangla Road, Phuket, Thailand)

Bottled at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok. Clear pale golden, mid sized head. Unpleasant vegetable aroma. Mid sweet with light body and rounded oily mouthfeel. Eggs and vegetables Low hop rate and near no bitterness. A bottle of industrial boredom.
