On cask at Elmwood Farm, Swallownest - Hazy russet body. log lasting off white head. Nose is light, not too malty, taste is very easy going. Quaffable.

On tap at The Lime Kiln, Bristol, Saturday 23rd April 2016 on our way to a gig by Explosions in the Sky at The Colston Hall. Fairly standard bitter, some caramel, fruity with a leaning to be quite sweetish, but it is fine. A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov12 3.1

Rochdale Beer Festival 2015. Clear copper-amber in colour. Slightly smooth, there’s good toffee and caramel flavours and aroma amongst the malts. Has a lowish bitterness.

Cask conditioned at Peterborough Beer Fest ’13. Amber to red with white head. This was a slightly sweet, malty beer, quite fruity with a note of apricot. Not as sharp as expected but reasonable enough.

Cask conditioned handpump Bankers Draft Sheffield 30/07/13. A brown beer with a big tight white head and lace. A dry and fruity aroma which carries through to the mouth. Very malty and dry. Fruits do come through which are quite pleasant. Not really my thing but does have its good points.

Draught at Sheffield Tap. Light brown coloured beer with no carbonation and a creamy small off white head. Light malty bitter hinted aroma. Creamy palate. FInish is sweet grainy light bitter hinted. Medium bitter.
