500ml bottle thanks to mr.brown pours out a golden topped with a white head. Nose is buggy funk some stone fruit almost. Taste is more of the buggy notes and a touch of fruit.

Bottle from Andy, golden shade, notes are sour lemon and oak up front. Lots of grass and lemonade funk as it warms up. Really nice sour for the cheap price of admission. Has some lambic aspects. Another surprise

Sour smell but a little different than most...A touch cloudy...Good sour and musty taste...Unique..Sourness really sticks on the palate...Good flavor and great strength of it but a touch too one dimensional...Tastes like an old sour...much mustier than sours though...In a good way

Bottled as De Troch, dated for 2014. Clear light amber. Aroma is barnyard, slight cheddar, lemon tart, lots of funk. Flavor is a match, although not really any cheese notes in the flavor. A bit sweaty too. Really nice. Very smart to label this as De Troch for the US market, as most beer geeks here see Chapeau and think fruit bombs. This is not that.

Bottle @ home, US label AF
Pours a lightly hazy golden with plenty of bubbles coming up the glass. The head is a medium size, white, & well retained leaving a small lacing on the glass.

The aroma is quite funky in a sort of barn-yard-y way, it’s got some lemon but more oak and white grape for sure. It’s certainly got some cheese rind & general mustiness going on.

The flavor is really sour & lemony... Like aggressively lemony. It’s on the bitter end for an gueuze and it’s got a fair amount of citrus rind &’woodiness.
I like it pretty well

Huge thanks Ludoooo!!! Poured a golden body with a small head. Dry, soft funky barnyard aroma. Slighly salty and tart classic taste, too light but pleasant. No real faults, no real interest. Still, very much solid.

375 ml bottle. Unclear golden body with a very small white head that quickly disappears to nothing. Aroma is fruity, lemon, acid and distinct wet horse blanket. Flavor is tart and funky with lemon, some fruit and quite much wood. The wood part feels like fresh wood and lots of tannin so the total impression is a quite robust and raw Geuze, miss some complexity compared with the other classics, but very refreshing and drinkable. Lot better than the big range of sweetened lambics from the brewery. Dry, tart and quite woody kind og finish.

Troebel goudblond bier met weinig wit schuim. Geur: zweterig, ietwat sulfer en kaas! Smaak: terug kaas, zuur, citroen. Ik heb toch al aangenamere geuzes gedronken.

Pours a clear golden with a white rim on top that leaves low lacing. Nose is of wood, barnyard/grass with a good level of funk. Taste is dry, woody and quite tart/a bit puckering. Moderate body and carbonation and just really vinous. Overall a really nice surprise, a bit rough maybe but I still think I could add that to my regular lineup if it was easier to get.
