Bottle. Clear reddish copper pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of malt, funky raspberry and sweet syrup. Malt and raspberry flavor with some funkiness before a sweet and tart finish.

F: no real. C: dark red/brown, hazy, opaque. A: raspberries, forest fruits, raspberry jam, sugary sweet. T: sweet sugary raspberries, bit of lemon, fruity sourness, sweet is good balanced with sourness, light to medium body, low carbonation, OK beer, 25cl bottle from Cora Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels.

7/V/17 - sample @ the brewery (Toer de Geuze) - BB: n/a (2017-586) Thanks to Klaas for sharing the beer!

Clear deep ruby red to pinkish beer, small irregular pink head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of raspberries, sweet, raspberry jam. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of raspberry jam, sweet, pretty sour as well, bit lemony. Aftertaste: sugary, raspberry jam, lemon juice. Actually not as bad as I had feared. ;-)

Pours with a decent amount of light foam. Color is dirty brown/dark red. Aroma is a bit musty and has overripe raspberry, chloroform (swimming pool), bubble gumball, brewed black tea. Palate is well balanced and the carbonation is sharp. Taste is fresh and has very ripe raspberries, some lemon juice and tropical mixed fruit juice. A very enjoyable and refreshing fruit lambic and the score for this is an understatement. It doesn’t smell or look that nice, but the taste and palate are amazing.

Bottle split during RBWG, Hotel Lobby Share, 01/02/16. Hazed red with a moderate beige to pink head. Nose is tangy raspberries, straw, sweet exhaust. Taste is sugary, aspartamic, raspberry jelly. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet close. Too sweet - meh !

A 375ml bottle with a best before date of 30th December 2017. Poured into a Cantillon ballon glass. It was a clear brownish colour with a slight red tint and a just less than one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving some sparse lacing. Aromas of sweet raspberry jam and grape juice. Tastes similar to the aroma, it was very sweet, on the verge of being too sweet for me. Lots of raspberry jam, with hints of grape juice and apple. Light bodied with moderate to light carbonation. Overall the aromas are nice, but its taste is on the verge of being too sweet in my opinion. Don’t think I can drink more than one small bottle in a single sitting.

375 ml bottle, no dating that I was able to find. Served in a Prairie Artisan Ales lambic glass (tumbler), the beer pours a cloudy reddish/brown color with about an inch off-white head that stuck around a while. There was also a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice and fruity, the brew smells like fresh raspberries and raspberry jam, and a bit of grainy malt. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but I think the sweet, raspberry jam/sugary flavor is dominant. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit slick and is well carbonated. I liked this, and if you’re a fan of the sweeter tasting fruited lambics then this is certainly worth picking up! $6.99 a bottle.

Meget smag af kirsebær. Den var ti år for gammel så den smagte lidt flad i smagen.

Pours hazy red with an almost non-existent pink head. The aroma contains... raspberries, sugar and some faint yeast. It tastes medium to heavy sweet and light sour in the finish. Very sticky texture, flat carbonation. Goes down way too easily. A weak Lambic and Framboise.
