Little hazy dark blond beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable. Aroma: lemon indeed, bit fruity, chemical touch, lemon peel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of lemon juice, bit sweet, sugary, little bitter, more lemonade. Aftertaste: lemon juice, bitter lemon, pretty decent, not too sweet.
Beer5000 (6483) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 13, 2016
250 ml bottle (old backlog rating). Clear, deep golden body under a white head. Aroma is lemon with a hint of soap. Flavor is acidic lemon with sweetness like lemonade. Medium body and aftertaste of soda pop with lemon flavor. Really nothing for my taste. sjogro (4130) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - OCT 27, 2016
Shared from bottle courtesy of Maakun. Clear dark golden with thin head with little retention. Big sweet and sour, beer wort, lemon and lemonjuice. Sour sweets; "zure matjes, napoleon". Faro. Very sweet and very sour. Medium body, low carbonation. Very sour with super sweet finish. Crazy jawbreaker stuff.

Bottle shared with sjogro. Almost clear dark golden with barely any head. Some lemon, weird funky grains, lots of candy sugar, light puke, apricot, soft grass. Over medium sweet and sour, really touching both ends of the spectrum. Medium bodied with light carbonation. One of the better Chapeau beers. kraddel (8098) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - OCT 26, 2016
Pours clear amber, no real head. Smell is Lemon, as well as that typical sugary ’lambic’ scent. The 2 components are asside eachother, not blendig in. Taste is lemonsour , very dry, a faro-like sweet-style lambic in the back. Too damn dry. Too Chemical. An extreme Taste in it’s own, but not in a Nice way. Many colliding factors, very unnatural, and some tastes are highlighted way too much . Balance ? Not even remotely there. Basebeer ? Awefull. Additives ? Of a Chemical kind. The endresult is drinkable, to my surprise, but of low Quality, and there are many, many other beers that are far better to drink. Erzengel (8703) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2016
*Old rating. Best before 03/05/14. Nice lemon aroma, sourish-sweet, nice and fresh. The aftertaste is bit sweetish, but round and fresh. Nice refreshing! phaleslu (10246) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 2, 2016
Bottle shared by Theydon_Bois at the Hyatt lobby fart share on Tuesday evening - thanks so much, Cloin, for bringing these! They’re gems. This one pours a clear gold with a small white head that settles into a ring. Characteristically unattractive for this brewer. Aroma of lemon soda, which is more like sour lemon candy in the flavor, with lime, sugars, and soda water. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a tart mouthfeel. Very much in line with the sub-par candy/cough drop house character of Chapeau. Ferris (15265) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 3, 2016
Draft - Lemon cleaner. Clearish light gold with a small white head. Sweet lemon and tart finish. Much like a cocktail mixer.
