$3 single at Binny’s, April 11. Nice smell coming out of the bottle, a fruity wine with plum in the background. Color is a full pilsener range, just a little rosy in the thicker parts, and I’ve got a good-sized white head that collapses into a bowl. Taste is sweet, as other taters notice, but I don’t think of that as a flaw. Maybe if I had let it sit another year or so it might ferment out a little more. But I do find it enjoyable for a fruit flavored beer. I do get some cork, even though I’ve kept it vertical at all times. I’d have another.

Bottle. Light golden pour with white head. Uber sweet fruit, fake aromas. Flavors are sweet, plastic and mild tart tones. FinnIckler (420) - GERMANY - JAN 5, 2017
Bottle from villages de Biere in Straßburg. Nose is peach, sour, not that pleasing. Palate is a weird mixture of tart, and peaches, sweet. Not good. bursprak (3183) - Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2016

From bottle. Pours an almost clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has rotten cherries, rotten malts, yoghurt. Taste is sour, grainy, slight fruity, actually pretty prominent mirabelle, puke. Average high carbonation and a light body.

Pours towards clear golden with no head. Aroma of rotten fruit, mirabelle, malt and sugar. Taste is sweet with a plum like fruityness and soda pop. Klimaet (2539) - Aarhus N, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2016
Bottle. Pours light hazy yellow with a small bubbly white head. Aromas of citrus, mirabelle, sugar. Taste is sweet, sugary, medicine, vinegar. mathieuc (3945) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 10, 2016
Pours a clear golden with no head and no lacing. Nose is of dried prunes and candy. Taste is of raisins and more plums/prunes and really sweet to the point of being cloying. There is still a light tartness behind it all that reminds you that there is still a lambic base underneath. Powdery candies finish. Body is medium, carbonation low and texture is sirupy. On par if not a little better than the average Chapeau but I can’t see how I would ever drink it again. I think I would even turn it down loudly in public if someone tried to serve me it. Pours golden with low white head. Aroma is of fruit ketchup, sugar, plums, skunk. Taste is of sugar, fruits, plums. Palate: Medium-full bodied, soft carbonation. Overall: Not repulsive actually. I’ve seen worst chapeau, but still. czar (8996) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 6, 2016
bottle shared by mathieuc, thanks bro. pours unclear golden orange with a very small off-white cap offering minimal retention and lacing. plain sugar, sweet prunes, candies, faint lambic, icing sugar. moderately low carbonation, light body - very oily; cloying fruity-spicy finish. reminiscence of old souvenirs of cheap berry-tropical candies. ugh.
