37.5 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium as Chapeau winter geueze 5.5%. Pours hazzlenut brown with a lacing off-white head. Berry fruity aroma with notes of malt and slight note of liqourice. Flavour is sweet malty, caramel with a classic geueze towards faro like note. Finish is sweet with a solid malt base lingering. Nice yet simple. Ungstrup (37625) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 15, 2007
Bottled - had as Winter Gueuze at 5.5% ABV. Unclear dark amber beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma is very spicy, as well as very light notes of bret, and some spices. Very weird flavor - very sweet, very spicy, cinnamon, leading a dry spicy finish. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 20, 2007

, Essen (as Chapeau Winter Gueuze, 5.5%). Hazy amber colour with small off-white head. Aroma is sweet fruits and sugar. Flavour is quite much the same along with papery hints. One of the better Chapeaus.
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2004 Bottled, 2001 vintage. Brownish amber. Fruity aroma with marshmallows, banana and old horse blanket. Sweet, dusty and rounded, rounded and sugary with low carbonation. Sweet like faro, lightly vinous with a touch of very old strawberry jam.

Soft and full on fruity flavours, especially raspberry and blackberry. Unwelcome dusty note. Soft finish. Very fruity and inoffensive.
Bottle split with Bruce and Colin at De Heeren van Liedekercke - Denderleeuw, Belgium. Pours clear, red-gold with a creamy white head. Lots of ripe, sugary fruits in the aroma, some raspberry in particular. Big sweet flavor, syrupy, with more raspberry, low tang. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Syrupy finish with very slight sourness, more sugary fruits, bread, apricots. Pleasant enough but very sweet and not a good lambic. Rasmus40 (20712) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2011
Unclear dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, fruity and spicy. Flavor is rather sweet and light sour. The finish is dry and acidic. This was my first ever gueuze, and it worked very well, because it wasn’t sour enogh to scare me away, but still introduced my to intentional sourness in beer. I have since come to like the style. 181109 Koelschtrinker (20403) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 30, 2011
*Brrrr* 9/3/5/2/5/3
