2014 Winter Geuze
Damn so much hate on here. No, it is not a traditional tasting geuze. The sourness and funk are super mild but they’re undoubtedly there. I’d place this more in the belgian christmas beer wheel house and the lightness of the geuze qualities add a really delightful complexity to the brew. In fact, I’d say this is one of my favorite christmas beers of the year. Definitely malt forward, even a little sweet and raisiny. Very solid beer and something I’ll definitely buy again Grzesiek79 (4362) - Radom, POLAND - MAR 3, 2013
Kolor Miedziano-rudy i dość ciemny. Smak to magia połączenia kwasowości guze z lekką nutą słodkości. Pożeczkowe akcenty najbardziej wyczułem i trochę wiśni. Wspaniale pijalne piwo i szybko zniknęło do dzisiejszego objadu. SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - APR 28, 2009
Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a faint hazy amber with nice beige head. Aroma is terrific!!!! Lots of raspberry, also the aroma has a nice twang to it. Flavor is great, raspberry, tart, malt sweetness, nice funkiness. Mouthfeel is medium body with medium fizzy carbonation. Overall, great lambic, I too am confused by the horrible rating this has..... chirolante (11) - ITALY - JUL 26, 2014

Pours a pale, effervescent light copper with a long-lasting white foam head. Aroma is raspberry, with a very light hint of tartness. Flavor is sweet, syrupy fruit. I bought this expecting something sour and got something sweet instead. Oh well. I enjoyed it, but I can understand the low ratings. jgb9348 (6392) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - APR 1, 2009
Nice slightly hazy golden amber coloured body with a dense tan head. Absolutely beautiful aroma of lemons, raisins, figs, spice, malt, alcohol and even a faint twang of bananas. Medium-bodied; Strong malty flavour with yeast, spice and tons of fruit flavours noticeable. Aftertaste is very pleasant - very sweet, yet showing some substance and complexity. Overall, a good fruit lambic - very sweet like most of their beers, but showing some carbonation unlike their others. Definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 37.5 cL split bottle purchased from Beer Maina in Bruxelles, Belgium yesterday on 12-March-2008 in London, England. Holmen1 (6142) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JUL 16, 2013
Syrligfrisk aroma i vinøs retning.
375 ml bottle into tulip glass, 2014 vintage bottling. Pours slightly hazy deep golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, peach, apricot, apple, white grape, candi sugar, hay, straw, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity and balance of fruity/funky yeast and moderate malt sweetness; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, peach, apricot, apple, white grape, candi sugar, hay, straw, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Slight tart/spicy finish; with lingering notes of lemon, peach, apricot, apple, white grape, candi sugar, hay, straw, light funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and complexity of fruity/funky yeast and moderate malt sweetness; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and slightly syrupy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good sweetened lambic style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/funky yeast and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
