minutemat (6044) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2017
330ml bottle from La Case, Caen. Pours a dark brown, off-white head. Aroma of deep caramel, spice, honey. Taste is bitter orange barley wine territory, some spice, fairly sweet, some figs. Decent.

darsh97 (2) - FRANCE - AUG 18, 2017 does not count
Hard to find all that is described on the label, namely liquorice, coriander, honey and bitter orange. Nevertheless a nicely balanced and tasty beer. Don’t be afraid of the ABV, you really do not feel it.

Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - AUG 10, 2016
courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear ruby-amber beer with a long lasting beige foam; light bready with notes of pears and figs; full-bodied, too sweet, light grainy, sweetish and ripe fruity finish with notes of brown sugar

Moolesen (593) - NETHERLANDS - APR 29, 2015
Bottle 75cl. Brown with a very small white head. Almost no aroma, but some sourness which does remind me of wild yeast. Definite not my kind of beer. Flavour also has this sourness. Can hardly believe that this beer has 11% alc/vol.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours murky amber, nose is spicy, caramel, taste is light fruit, toffee.

ReV2 (217) - Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2014
From the indoor market in Etretat, Normandie. Aroma is sweet alcohol, taste is malt with a hint of sourness, not much in the way of hops, light spice & musty fruit. Drinks way below its strength, something missing.

3.5
PapaVillum (955) - Valby, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2014
Noget befriende let drikkeligt over denne stærke Ale.

Beertobealive (596) - Courbevoie, FRANCE - OCT 21, 2014
Short beigish white head with citrus and spices aromas. Clear copper body. Light Fennel taste but alcohol is well hidden. Best before 2035!!! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.5
manuelMTL (317) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 7, 2014
33 cl bottle in tulip glass. Pours a hazy amber with a frothy white head. Nose is fruity with citrus, orange, and floral notes. A light Cinzano aroma. A bit soapy. Taste is dry with orange and grapefruit flavors. Light sweetness. Medium bitterness lingering for a while. 11 ABV is barely recognizable. Interesting beer but lacks a bit of complexity!

3.1
Philym (1003) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2014
Appearance: Hazy dark amber with 2 finger thick beige head. Aroma: Muskiness, earthy, mineral, candied orange peel, bready, spice, hint of spiritous alcohol and light dried fruit. Taste: Low sweetness, medium bitter and sourness. Palate: Thick smooth texture, light/medium body, average carbonation, abrupt bready, fruity finish. Comments: Good, but fairly ordinary. Glass lace. No hint that this is 11%.
