Bottle - Darkish amber with initial very large foamy head. Good strong aroma. Slight ting on tongue and in mouth but ok. Pleasant tasting and lasting - overall quite a good beer.

330ml bottle from madeincalvados.com. Pours a clear deep amber, pillowy off-white head. Aroma is quite aggressively malty and floral. Taste is similarly aggressive with jagged malts and an unpleasant herbal bitterness. I’ve tried a few beers from this brewery now and all have been consistently dreadful. I suggest they find a new hobby.

skortila (6001) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - SEP 4, 2015
Bottled. 33cl sample. The aroma has caramel malts, some grass. Hazy, brown coloured beer with an off white head. The taste is light bitter, bit sweet and has caramel malts, some spice and hay. Light - medium body.

Mackeon (163) - - AUG 19, 2015
Slightly sweet, very little aroma and a bitter note that doesn’t blend in very well. Still a nice beer, even if it lacks a little body. Weird artwork with runes and some sort of Anglo-saxon writing.

Nez: Caramel, herbe grasse, levure Bouche: Caramel, acidulée, terreuse, épicée Ça manque clairement de corps on sent l’eau en fin de bouche

A good ale with nice balance between bitterness/sweetness and acidity. Only flaw would be the body: little watery

3.2
MotherBrother (945) - Aalborg, DENMARK - DEC 3, 2014
pour hazy, light orange, with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma of berries, grass and slight hay. Taste is pretty darn bitter. Average body, with a fizzy carbonation.
