75 cl bottle / BBD: Fall 2008 Although 7 years past expiration date, I very much liked how this beer held up. Aroma and taste of orange peels , but certainly not too fruity. Overall a very complex and dark beer. Delicious!

Retrogusto dolciastro.

Bottle( from the MoritzF’s archives…! BBE 06/12, sampled 01/16): Reddish-amber coloured, clear(!!!), small and stable off-white head with a good lace; distinctive nose of sweet dried fruits, toasted malt and a touch of wood; solid sweet flavour with a slight malty bitterness, full bodied, not soft; distinctive - warming - alcoholic traces in the winous-woody finish. A bit on the sweet side, but still a pleasant winter-warmer…
