75 cl. corked bottle poured in to a tulip. Clear, golden colour with a big, frothy white head. Fruity aroma with yeasts, sweet exotic fruits, coriander, pale malts and grains. Taste is light sweet. Medium body, average texture, lively carbonation. Finishes with sweet exotic fruits, spices, grains and a pleasant, warming alcohol. A an average as far as Belgians goes, otherwise a good food-beer pairing.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2013 0.75 bottle as Keizer Karel Charles Quint. Pristine clarity, golden color and a clear-white, medium head. Aroma of a typical Belgian blonde, spices, clove, banana, fruits, vanilla, really classy. Taste is sweet with sour undertone, hop, slightly disappointing. Light to medium body, slick texture and a lively carbonation. Finish is a medium-long and bitterer version of the taste itself. All in all it is an alright beer, it must be said that I expected something better after noticing the lovely fragrance coming out of the glass. Wasn’t it for the carbonation it would be much much better.
