Medium body, average texture, lively carbonation. Finishes with sweet exotic fruits, spices, grains and a pleasant, warming alcohol. A an average as far as Belgians goes, otherwise a good food-beer pairing.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2013 0.75 bottle as Keizer Karel Charles Quint. Pristine clarity, golden color and a clear-white, medium head. Aroma of a typical Belgian blonde, spices, clove, banana, fruits, vanilla, really classy. Taste is sweet with sour undertone, hop, slightly disappointing. Light to medium body, slick texture and a lively carbonation. Finish is a medium-long and bitterer version of the taste itself. All in all it is an alright beer, it must be said that I expected something better after noticing the lovely fragrance coming out of the glass. Wasn’t it for the carbonation it would be much much better.
