Opaque black beer, big fluffy tan head. Palate is smooth with mild carbonation. Chocolate! Slightly tangy milk chocolate and a lesser tone of drinking chocolate and that somewhat powdery chocolate you associate with cheap sweets. A hint of tangy chocolate orange. Finishes semi dry. Trace of banana and bubblegum ester. Mild minerals and a little dark chocolate. Harmless fun!
On tap. Black pour with tan head. Nose of m&ms..its alllll chocolate. Smells like milk chocolate but tastes like dark chocolate. A bit thin bodied but a nice finish of lingering bitter chocolate. gunnfryd (15176) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 23, 2013

Clear dark brown red colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, cacao, light alcohol. Flavour is light heavy sweet with a long duration, chocolate, fruity - riped something ! maybe it is yeast, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Pours an opaque dark garnet brown with a thin light tan head that quickly disappears. Aroma is Hershey’s chocolate syrup as well as a vinous character. Taste is sweet chocolate covered raisins and buttery caramel. Some Belgian ale notes and alcohol warmth in the background. Pretty damned decent!

22 oz. bottle, pours a dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma is pure chocolate, a bit of candied sugar and some mild Belgian-esque notes. Flavour is pure liquid chocolate, a bit of dark fruits, more chocolate, and lots of candied sugar. Quite sweet but in no way cloying. Like pure liquid chocolate. Great stuff. Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear brown color with an average frothy light brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy chocolate malt and small alcohol aroma. Medium body with a smooth sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy dark sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid brew.

22oz bottle, shared by Alexsdad06. Dark brown but clear color. Light khaki head. Little dots of lace. Rich, sweet chocolate syrup nose. Medium / bigger body, light carbonation, dry texture. Very sweet, but wow, big chocolate syrup aroma Decent, interesting ale, but kinda too chocolatey sweet for me, not my thing b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - DEC 5, 2012
Bomber to snifter (thanks alexsdad06). Looks good; cola with off-white lacing. Smells solid; chocolate and malt. Tastes Nice, silky-smooth mouthfeel too. This is damn good beer!
