22oz bottle courtesy of phaleslu: Pours a clear dark mahogany with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Has a rich cocoa and dark caramel aroma with some dark fruity notes. Starts with good fullness and chewy dark caramel maltiness with a doughy yeasty complexity. Finishes sweet and chocolaty. An interesting and unique brew. saxo (18301) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2012
Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich chocolate, malt, fruits, molasses and hops. Quite sweet. mcberko (17826) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 30, 2012
22 oz. bottle, pours a dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma is pure chocolate, a bit of candied sugar and some mild Belgian-esque notes. Flavour is pure liquid chocolate, a bit of dark fruits, more chocolate, and lots of candied sugar. Quite sweet but in no way cloying. Like pure liquid chocolate. Great stuff. gunnfryd (14872) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 23, 2013

2/3/2014. On tap. Dark brown with a tan head. Malty and chocolate aromas with spices. Predominantly chocolate flavors with light spice, fruit and a semi-sweet finish. Nice balance.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, spicy yeast, dark fruits, some dark and caramel malts, and light bitter notes. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A pretty good quad. marcus (10222) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAR 3, 2014
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours dark brown with a transient tan head and a chocolate and alcohol aroma. There is a fruity chocolate flavor with some vanilla and a dry finish. douglas88 (9180) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 19, 2015
Bomber. Pours a clear brown color with a medium brown head. A big sweet chocolate nose. The flavor is massive chocolate, vanilla, milky, sweet. Awesome. 1FastSTi (3360) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - APR 1, 2011
Thanks T..J. The beer pours to a deep cola colored body with a thin off-white head. The aroma is like a chocolate sundae. Lots of bananas covered in chocolate with some cream. The flavor is sweet bananas and a nice chocolate body. Like a sundae. Flavor lingers upon a medium dry body. This one works for me. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 4, 2011
Thanks to T.J. for bringing the bomber! Poured hazy, deeper brown with a creamy, dark tan head. The aroma picked up chocolate-covered bananas plus some darker fruit upfront.. chocolate-centric, but the quad elements provided lovely depth.. sweet overall and very intriguing. The flavor found lots of cocoa nibs throughout, with darker fruit and biscuity sweetness at the core.. more toasty banana on the back-end.. very tasty stuff, but the chocolate overwhelmed all of the other interesting character. Medium-bodied and a bit too sweet on the palate.. the alcohol was totally masked.. very tasty and drinkable.
