This wonderful wheat is slightly sweet and spicy from the coriander and candied orange peels that are part of this traditional Belgium recipe. Simply delicious served with a slice of lemon.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of byaeger. Pours an an almost clear with a white head. Perfumy coriander nose. Light body, tart and citrusy, dusty fruit, coriander and lavender with a dryish finish. Not too bad for the style. 270310

This was courtesy of Strykzone. The 22-oz bottle first was a gusher, and after a cup poured out on to the tablecloth it poured a cloudy orange to gold with a very large white head and light lacing. Nose of orange peel. Body light and mouthfeel lively. The flavor is of citrus and some coriander spice. There are better witbiers around, but this one was certainty drinkable.

Bottle. Is what it claims...Belgian wheat. The coriander and orange are fine, but the wheat bit isn’t as strong as I’d like...little watery and has a strange tart flavor. I don’t mind it, reminds me of an unsweetened apple cider, but the tartness sticks out and if you like that or not I guess might alter your opinion on this one. I like it, recommend it for the price. Could do with a bit more punch. 4.5% abv.

Orange lemon fruity taste. Poured from 12oz bottle at flannerys. Tart beer. Decent for the style, which I normally hate.
