Pours blonde and fairly clear. It smells like a strawberry jolly rancher candy. The taste has more of a blonde ale character, but the strawberry is a bit too fake tasting for me. nuplastikk (6289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 27, 2016
12oz bottle. Disturbing strong candy strawberry aroma. Massive unruly head. Mildly infected, but the flavor sort of work with the strawberry. Quite a poor beer, inexpertly crafted. Not good. Cloyingly artificial. gregwilsonstl (2504) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 29, 2015
Surprised how poorly this rated. It’s really difficult to get strawberry flavor to make its way past fermentation, and Charleville did a good job of doing so. It’s almost like a strawberry soda, but not quite as sweet. What else do raters expect from a strawberry blonde? ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 6, 2015
A pretty mediocre bonde. The strawberry qualities are pretty understated and there’s a mild stale aftertaste. justsayswell (281) - Kansas City, Kansas, USA - MAY 28, 2015
Clear gold with a very faint reddish tinge. Small fizzy white head. Little lacing. I could smell strawberry perfume as soon as I opened the bottle. Lots of strawberry in the nose, some yeast esters, maybe a bit of graham cracker. Very light body, very active carbonation. This is definitely a blonde with strawberry. You taste the blond ale underlayment, then the strawberry. There are some noticeable floral hops in there too. It would be a bit less awful if they’d skipped the strawberry and just made a blond ale. Like two separate beers that had a front end collision.

On tap. Comes golden pink with a small white head. Aroma of strawberry soda. Taste is strawberry soda, fruit, malt, and grain. Tasted artificial to me. Ktwse (4891) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2014
Pours clear amber with low white head. Aroma of strawberries, plenty of ’em! Taste is slightly funky light bitter, some strawberry sweet but not as present as in the aroma. Almost like tea in the finish. Body is light and smooth, soft carbonation. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - JUL 10, 2014
The aroma is reminiscent of strawberry wafers and yeast, and the appearance is a clear golden color with a small white head. The taste is an awkward blend of a slight sourness and a touch of sweetness, and the palate fuses a finish that is full of strawberry flavor, a medium body, slick texture, and a soft carbonation. seymour (2045) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - AUG 13, 2013
Tasted from a 12oz brown bottle into a schooner glass. It poured an odd pinkish-hued golden colour with long-lasting white foam and a little lace. Profoundly strong strawberry aromas and flavours. Extreme, not balanced at all, but that’s obviously what they’re going for, because their Box of Chocolates and other flavoured beers are the same way. They are very proud of using natural strawberries, but it seems no matter how you extract the essence and dissolve it in an alcohol solution like this, it ends up seeming like a plastic Strawberry Shortcake doll. Not horrible, but not my kinda thing. Onionkid (376) - Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA - AUG 6, 2013
Bottle. Berry soda aroma. The taste starts off with a strawberry flavor that sort of rests between enjoyable and medicinal...and wraps up with the taste of grass clippings and grain. Finishes crisp and clean. Could be a session beer, and overall is pretty taste minus being a bit thin and weak. 4.5% alcohol.
