Bottled @ ZZT 9, small sample. Almost clear golden color, big frothy head. Aroma of spicy yeast, bit peppery, floewry hop. Bit sweet taste, bit caramel malt, bit dry. Slight estery. Decent stuff. Benzai (16924) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2014
Bottle @ ZZT 9 thanks to Joes. Clear yellow-golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Aroma is fresh, lightly yeasty, a bit sharp. Taste also has that sharp touch. Hard to describe, not sharp as in pepper, but different. Decent body, medium carbonation. Abijen (2572) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2014
Pours a golden clear beer with a big white head. Smells lemon, fresh and yeast, bit vommit. Tastes herbs and spices. Some pepper, lemon. Not my kind of beer. Average carbo, thin body and a dry texture. Torrefacto (1792) - Madrid, SPAIN - APR 4, 2014
DerWeg (1750) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 10, 2014
Massive 750ml bottle pours amber coat, a puffy Orval-like head offers citrus, super nice dry/off-dry Saison with spicy phenols, some sharp bretty funk, long pale fruit and lingering hop dryness over the finish. Full feel. Class act!! Would like to age some.

750ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Typical Saison aroma in mild fulfilment, cautious fruity notes, a very cautious touch of smoke, herbal hoppy overtones. Taste is rather similar; soft palate, soft carbonation, silky mouthfeel. Though very mild and soft a superbly balanced, multifaceted and "ample" Saison. Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy light gold, attractive white head, really just about the perfect looking beer. Aroma is pale malts with a delicate balance of yeast driven spice and some subtle grassy hopping on the finish. Flavor here is a match. I can’t adequately describe how perfectly balanced everything is in this beer - it all just hangs together perfectly, and hits a great mix of being complex yet "drinkable." A truly superb saison. sulawang (1209) - - FEB 28, 2014
Visual: Bottled in a noticeabley heftier and higher quality bottle than other North American microbrews. Pours opulent amber copper with a fantastically large and lasting foamy head, and a torrent of CO2 activity, runny lacing.
Nose: Grassy with bright citrus wheat malts. (6/10-pungency)
Attack: incoming crisp bite, creamy-foamy mouthfeel
Mid-palate: continued creaminess, mild sour/light tangy, (MAIN) sweet wheat malts, yeast/grass (HINT) pink grapefruit, pepper, bitter peel
Finish: softly bitter hopped fruit-malt finish. (supremely clean)
Summary: This beer has a great balance of texture, palate sensation, taste, and body. Another good brew in addition to the Brut I’ve tried of theirs. CRock (273) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 15, 2014
Picked up a beer from another great Quebec brewery. Crisp and refreshing. Highly recommend. wolffish (661) - Saint-Donat, CANADA - JAN 15, 2014
Bouteille de 2012. Odeur et goût de céréales bien présents et supportés par une bonne amertume. Équilibrée...
