14/IX/13 - on tap @ Hoppy Loft (Delirium caf, Brussels) - BB: n/a (2013-850) Thanks to KyotoLefty for sharing the beer!

Clear pale amber beer, creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: ripe fruits, bit funky, cultivated bretta, dairy, hay. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: metallic, grassy bitterness, dairy, funky, hay, weird touch, some marzipan. Aftertaste: funky, little sweet, floral, hay, pretty bitter and dry. I cant help myself but I have the impression that this brewery is overly hyped. Ive had several of the Dominus Vobiscum series, and none were as good as their RB scores would like you to think.

Nice saison, heavy heasty aorma, acid and with a flavor that starts sweet then heavy yeasty.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft during Zwanze Day shenanigans. Rating the same version as sebletitje, I assume that this is the correct entry. Clear (sigh) golden with a white head. Smells sweet, sugary, cereal and some light grass. Sweet taste, white bread malt, sweet cornflakes with white sugar, grains, bitter hay and bitter floral and grass finish. Uber-simple, sweet and almost macro-fare styled. Light & fizzy, I didnt care at all for this one & too much stuff like white sugar cornflakes in here. No idea what happened here, I think that I like saisons & the ratings are very good here. Maybe a bad keg? Worn by travel? Or I am just not getting it. (Thx! for sharing people!)

pours hazy bright golden with a towering foamy white head, excellent retention and lacing. breadied malts, citrus, yet very herbal, spicy, floral, yeasty, light pepper, oranges, light vanilla. hint of sweetness - tad too malty. lively, medium body - oily, very nice short but fairly present citrusy finish - the kind that makes want another sip right away! charlevoixs lupulus feeling here, hop-wise. just WOW.

75 cl bottle @ olio, bottled 08?.12.2013
Aroma has soapy citrus and apricot. Also some sweet fruity tones. Somewhat foamy palate. Flavour has some peppery spices, apricot, some citrus, hints of grapefruits and biscuits. Becomes grassy and herbal at the middle of the glass. Why are all these non-Belgian saisons so foamy?

Wonderful. Pours with a big frothy head. Lots of lacing, cloudy blond. Smell has hay-like yeast and a little orange peel. Taste has citrus and bitterness. Soft carbonation. A faint sugary sweetness. Big bottle from Peluso.

lusikka (7757) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 19, 2014
750 ml bottle. Pours a yellow colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of grainy malts, grassy hops and some citrus. Flavour is very grainy with some floral hops, pear, grass and caramel. Medium bodied and a bit harsh and annoyingly high carbonation. Nothing fancy.

blankboy (7400) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 28, 2012
Draught at The Toronto Festival of Beer, July 26. Pours a clear deep gold with an average size semi-lasting frothy of-white head. Lovely aroma is herbal, spicy and yeasty along with plenty of fruit, honey and a good amount of hops. Big, delicious, slightly sweet flavour of honey, herbs, spices, yeast and light hops. Medium bodied. Fantastic stuff!

Bottle 750 ml
Aroma: strong wheat notes , slight grassy feel with soft wheat wrap. Aromatic rendering of weizen.
Look: clear golden with large creamy off white top. Remnants of lace. Handsome.
Taste: full bodied. Golden malts blended with wheat softens on Belgian yeast. Nice play. I am not sure if I would put this under saison. Belgian wheat with American bend.
