Bottle - 750ml. Beautiful hazy golden body with a huge white frothy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with malty, flowery, and citrusy hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries herbal and some spicy notes. Ends with a long bitter/herbal finish. Well done.

probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 10, 2013
750 mL bottle from LCBO served cool in a tulip glass. Clear deep golden with a full, loose white meringue. Spicy, zesty citrus, some esters, somewhat spicy, a bit if alcohol stings the nostrils, light wheat and cereals, a little yeasty, smells somewhat sweet, a bit peppery and green/grassy. Medium body, lively effervescence. Lots of wheat and cereals, reasonably peppery and spicy, decent esters, fruity, honey notes, nice; dry with moderate bitterness and a pleasant honey and lightly spicy and fruity finish. Not quite in DuPont territory, but still pretty good.

Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy light gold, attractive white head, really just about the perfect looking beer. Aroma is pale malts with a delicate balance of yeast driven spice and some subtle grassy hopping on the finish. Flavor here is a match. I cant adequately describe how perfectly balanced everything is in this beer - it all just hangs together perfectly, and hits a great mix of being complex yet "drinkable." A truly superb saison.

More details to come later as I didnt take the time to write down notes while bathing in the sun and drinking this. Its official that there will be (many) repeat over the course of summer!

750 ml bottle. Hazed golden orange with a puffy white head. Nose is lovely roses, wheat, lavender, honey and lime zest. Crisp and creamy with a tickling sparkle, a joy to drink. Taste is subtly sweet nutmeg, grain, lemon peel, tangerine and wintergreen. Better than the brewpub Cuvee des Fleurs; my new #2 saison.
