on tap at le griendel, qc. clear pale yellow pour with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing. pale honeyed cereals, some doughy apples, few lagering fruity notes, tough and hard to handle herbalness, hint of sweetness - apple puree; very light astringent leafiness, pepper, minerals, clean yeast action. moderate carbonation, light body - oily, semi-sweet and bland herbal finish. subpar premium lager bit still enjoyable.

On tap at brouhaha Ahuntsic. Clear light gold pour with thin white head. Aroma is light, light grain, very faint grassy notes, very very light. Taste is grainy, soft honey sweetness. Palate is light bodied with good carbonation. Good.

On tap at Gainsbourg (Gatineau, QC). Pale blond body with a thin white frothy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with herbal and flowery hints. Its fresh malty/hoppy taste carries grainy and herbal notes. Ends with a decent bitter/herbal finish. Not bad.

Metalchopz (3289) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 10, 2011
Originally rated October 2006. Sampled at the pub itself. Poured a clean gold colour with a head that left nice lacing and a ring that stayed a while. Unfortunately, the carbonation did not stay, and the beer become flat. Nice perfume nose with grain and some saaz hop. Good start with the grain and hop, with a clean cereal finish and a flowery aftertaste. Very refreshing, great tasting for a house pils-lager and easy to drink.

on tap at the pub. Clear golden pour. Aroma of hops, and some biscuity malts. Flavor is more of the same, but its realy quite hoppy for a lager. I enjoyed it.

Verre de 12 oz, au Saint-Pub. Armes de crales et de houblon floral. Robe blonde ple, effervescence moyenne. Assez dlicate en bouche, des crales lgrement sucres sont accompagnes par un discret houblon floral. Finale peu amre. Simple et rafrachissant!

Sampled at the new brewery. The tasting room is not really open and the keg had been tapped a while ago for the staff. I would not rate it if I had thought that it suffered. Golden with white head. Grainy aroma. Grainy soft body. Clean lager. Id drink it too if I worked there.

A blond lager with a thin lacing white head. A grainy malt aroma with light herbal hops. In mouth, grainy crisp malt, with biscuity notes, an almost oily hop resin, metallic notes in final. An interesting lager. On tap at Brouhaha, May 2008.
