On tap at bateau de nuit. Copper pour with rocky white head that leaves pretty solid lacing, very pretty. Light grassy aroma, lots of caramel, subtle grapefruit notes, the poor simcoe is kind of crushed. Taste is bitter, grapefruit notes, lots of caramel though, a bit sweet. Rich, full bodied palate, good carbonation, quite "balanced", for someone who doesn’t like IPA to taste like biscuity hop juice, then this is it. For others, like me, this is a waste of simcoe. Still quite drinkable however, I drowned my sadness in a second pint. czar (9279) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 23, 2013
on tap at bateau de nuit, qc. relatively clear golden with a very nice off-white head, very good retention and lacing. loads of citrus, vegetal-simcoe, floral pineyness, fresh crisp pale and lightly toasted malts - fairly malted. average carbonation, light to medium body - oily, very nice citrusy medium long and balanced finish. quenching and good!
