wow frothyness! dark black in colour. aromas of roast, caramel, almonds, cake and a hint of spice. Tastes are cream textured, roasted malts, with a sweet caramel taste. the finish is almost acidic or something. medium to full bodied but a beautiful brew none the less!

Bottle from Peluso MTL. Pours black with thin tan head. Very thin mouth feel definitely lacking body. Milk chocolate and coffee aroma. There is a strange taste I believe to be the lactose that adds a displeasing off taste. Over all a mediocre beer. Hammy78 (977) - Dundas, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 1, 2011
500ml bottle sample. Upon first opening this bottle I smelt strawberry for some reason. Pours a very dark brown, small quick diminishing head. Quick moving cascading lace. Aroma is of carmel, coffee and a slight aftertaste of ash (very slight). Decent brew, my first milk stout. Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 24, 2010
Bottle from Peluso. Pours a rich black body with a tan head and light lacing and head retention. Malty body a bit on the sweeter side, lactose, malt, molasses, and chocolate malt tones. Medium bodied warming light coffee esk bitterness but like i said on the sweeter side. One of the better stouts i’ve had from our Northern of the boarder. Great black appearance. Good frothy coffee coloured head and lace. Earthy roast aroma. Slight skunk, not to pleasant aroma. Nice roasted malt, caramel, coffee and chocolate flavour. Decent texture. Tidy beer.

50cl bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body with a nice frothy beige head that slowly receded to a thin covering. The nose is nicely roasty with some sweet lactose, but there’s also a touch of a rubbery note. The flavor is a touch overly roasted, and when combined with the sweetness from the lactose, it really brings out that odd rubber like note that is in the nose. There’s minimal alcohol coming through at least. Medium bodied, a touch sticky and clingy with moderate fizzy carbonation. Can’t say I got into this one too much. mcberko (19869) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 6, 2010
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2010 500mL bottle, pours black with a tan head. Aroma of oatmeal, coffee, vanilla and a little chocolate. Very hearty oatmeal in the flavour, with coffee, vanilla, and a milky quality - quite sweet. Not overly fond of the milky/lactose quality, but it’s a solid beer no doubt. dunkpigen (379) - Kolding, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2010
Pours balck with a caramel coloured creamy head. Aroma and flavour of coffee, chocolate, vanilla and blackcurrant. Palate is very pleasant, soft with af dry coffee aftertaste with the vanilla notes finishing. thewolf (12949) - Kolding, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2010
Bottle. [thanks, cfrancis]drougkolya (276) - Otterburn Park, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 24, 2010
Pous completely black with a staying, rather large, light-beige head. Mild aroma with dark chocolate, a hint of smoke, some coffee and lactose. Low to medium carbonation, fine light dry and light creamy palate. Flavour is kinda mild but very elegant. No sign of the 9%. Milky darkish chocolate, quite sweet. The lactose adds a smoky hint. Fairly sweet overall, but not in a bad way. Good.
IS noire de 9%, peu houblonné, seulement 10 IBU, peu pétillante, 500ml, avec lactose??? dégradé en alcool anyway...bière stout de base peu gouteuse...en résumé de l’alcool noire...un peu décu!!!
