Pours hazy pale yellow with creamy white head. Smell has some slight citrussy hops as well as some tropical fruits. Starts very fruity-sourish, yeasty and citrus-hoppy. Middle part has fruity sourish notes, lots of citrus and grapefruit. Finish is citrus-fruity and slight yeasty.
Bottle: Aroma is mixture of herbal and citrus hops, bitterness. Hazy dakr yellow color, creamy head. Flavor is few sweet, some candy, quite dry and herbal bitter. Medium to intensive herbal bitterness in the end. Good. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - AUG 1, 2013
Glowing golden body with yeast floaties and a nice stable white head. Citrus hops, grassy as well, pale amlt base, tat bit toasty perhaps and with a clean style yeast aroma. Overall a bit dimmed though, perhaps the alcohol. Rich citric bitterness and an alcohol warmth control the taste profile. Sour hint in the middle. Very nice and the very clean yeast helps make this both a real IPA as well as an interesting (German) interpretation. Body is refreshing and rich rather than thick and dense. Quality stuff in a bottle that looks very amateurish (just a white sticker). (50cl bottle from Wasan’s Getränken Oase) kappldav123 (6100) - GERMANY - JUL 13, 2013
Bottle looks very simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts strong and a bit alcoholic, more and more dry-hoppy, fruity like lemon and grapefruit. Finish less alcoholic, more flowery-hoppy. Nice! Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - JUN 27, 2013
33cl bottle from Liebick Getränke in Germering. Pours a hazed golden-orange colored body with an inch thick, foamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is fairly fruity and floral with some citruses, a light grainy malt sweetness, and a tad bit tart. Flavor is similar. Fairly fruity and citrusy with a light tart note. Lightly sweetened caramel malt backing before this finishes fairly dry and moderately bitter before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Medium body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent DIPA. The light tartness might be an early sign of contamination, but for now it isn’t too distracting.

33cl Bottle at Lost Property. Hazy golden-orange colour, white head. Aroma of a slightly hopped-up Heller Bock, malty, sweet bread, grass. Flavour is malty, medium-sweet, hint of oranges, bread, light-fruity, firm grassy bitter finish. Medium-bodied at best, soft carbonation. Lacks a lot of oomph for a DIPA. stevoj (5040) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Well executed IPA, a new style for Germany. Wonderful hoppy nose, appearance is very nice, hazy golden with silky head, and sticky lacing that coats the glass. Taste is butterscotch, toffee, caramel with gorgeous hoppy bitterness. Nice to see Germany adopting other styles. BierFiend (248) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 7, 2013
Pours hazy golden with thick white foamy head. Smells of hops and herbs. Tastes of hops and herbs with mild bitter on the tongue. Light carbonation and watery on the palate. Tasty beer. Alcohol is well incorporated. Being 9%, you don’t even taste the alcohol. Koelschtrinker (20398) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAR 17, 2013
Hell hopfiger Antrunk, minimal bitter. Auf diese wesentlichen Punkte hat man sich hier beschränkt, weitere Alben findet man kaum. Hell, spritzig, zum Ende spürbar alkoholisch. Nett, "deutsch". 9/11/11/12//11 hawanna (3296) - Freising, GERMANY - FEB 19, 2013
