I feel like I am sitting in Germany drinking this. Right down (or up) to the foamy white head, this beer is an excellent Pilsner! Of course, the chilled Wurzburger Hoffbrau glass does not hurt!

Pours hazy yellow, with a very slight lime green tint. Lots of visible ingredients floating about, which is a plus for me. Great taste. One of the best American-made pilsners out there. Balanced! wlajwl (6886) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Strong aroma of bread and grains in aroma. The flavor is very bready and grainy like the aroma with a nicely bitter finish. Most German Pilsners made in the U.S. don’t come close to the real thing, but this really does, a very well made pilsner and beer all around. Appearance: Pours a straw-hued body, great clarity, and topped with a rather foamy, white head.
Smell: Fairly pleasant aroma, accumulated bakery notes smelling of yeasty dough, raw grains, and fresh-baked breads. Also some floral, citrusy hop hints.
Taste: Crisp, crackery malts with a bit of slackened honeyish sweetness. Soft doughy undertones. Floral, lemon-tinged hops with sufficient bitterness. Very, very low trace of sulfur. Drying, crisp, clean finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Flavorful, easy drinking. Just a good beer all around. With many in the Atlanta area going bananas over the CBS hysteria, running around like mad trying to score a bottle before they seemingly all end up on eBay, it’s nice to be just enjoying a good beer on the porch in this perfect weather.
Double deuce for the superbowl. I’ve been exploring session beers lately, and this is flat out awesome for such an occasion. Pours straw golden, effervescent, with a decent white head that hangs around. Nose is hay, grassy and lemony hops and freshness. Taste is lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Palate has a nice snap to it, a solid lingering bitter finish, and a nice light body. I can’t say enough how I enjoy a really well put together pilsener, and this was top notch. You can tell they put a lot of care and attention into crafting this.

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2012 Clear gold, lasting white head, awesome lace. Lightly toasted crackers, bit of honey, and snappy herbal hops in the nose. Taste is lightly sweet, medium bitter, with plenty of doughy freshness and herbal appeal. Nice honey-kissed biscuit emerges as it warms. Medium body, creamy texture, great carb, and supremely easy to drink. Thank you, Rogue. Good chit, indeed. Fatehunter (2568) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Poured into a pilsener glass. A solid three fingers of head on top a hazy, golden body. It’s beautiful with the bubbles coming up.
It smells like wet barley, like a field just rained on.
Biting bitterness up front that holds on to the end. A balance of sweet malt comes in but can’t hold up to the hops. Really good flavor, impossible to ignore.
Crisp and medium body, moderate carbonation.
An excellent pilsner that you can’t go wrong with. Labove (427) - Rome, ITALY - JUL 12, 2012
Birra interessantissima, una pilsner più secca e luppolata del normale, luppolata con "carciofi" americani. Datemene ancora!! poisoneddwarf (2571) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - DEC 29, 2011
Bomber. Pours a slightly hazy honey-gold with a medium-large white pillowy head; leaves cobwebby lacework. Aroma is fresh baked bread, yeasty dough. Taste is lightly sweet with a hint of tartness and a dry bitter finish. Crisp and refreshing. Fantastic pilsener. gregwilsonstl (2541) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 20, 2012
Clear gold. Very smooth and light. Buttery. One of the best pilsners ive had. Solid.
