3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2014 Clear dark straw color. Drinkable barley wine...at first. Bounces between alcohol and bitterness. Kind of a pale bareywine, but hot. ..... starts off as an ipa ends as a barley wine.
Bottle. Clear and golden with a big head. Lots of hop aroma. Thick malt backbone. Alcohol is well hidden. The malt profile isn’t quite sweet enough or dark enough for me to call it a barleywine. But it’s a fine double IPA. dnstone (3430) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - MAY 31, 2017
Pours golden in color with white head. Deep malty aroma. Big malty earthy flavor, moderately sweet.

Without any look at the label except the name, pours a hazy yellow. The taste is kinda bland. The aroma is nice. After taste is long lasting
