UPDATED: JUN 30, 2014 Finally enjoying Rogue’s Pumpkin Patch Ale on tap @ Tadg’s. 5.6% A beautiful clear amber with a pumpkin pie spice aroma. Served in a lager glass. Nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, quite tasty & not overdone. The glass may be toning it down. One of the best pumpkin beers this year, neck & neck with the Uinta pumpkin which may have a bit more pumpkin flavor... Arayaga2 (2197) - portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 3, 2013
Translucent amber with a bit of white head. Aroma and taste are exactly as expected from a stand gravity pumpkin, and perhaps a little richer. Gingery spicy taste into the finish, and recedes in to pumpkiny earthiness. $3 rogue garage sale M82 (469) - Kansas, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Bomber to glass, clean and clear pumpkin and malt with pleasant lightly spicy accents on a med-med-light body, well balanced and approachable Boutip (6374) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle: Poured a caramel color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of caramelized malt with some well-balanced notes of pumpkin, cinnamon and cloves. Taste is also a well-balanced mxi between some pumpkin notes with some cinnamon and some cloves with some caramelized malt. Body is about average with good carbonation. Really enjoyable pumpkin beer. brewballs (215) - USA - NOV 28, 2013
A pretty good pumpkin ale despite the low abv. Sweet spice notes. Like a pumpkin pie you would find in a bakery. Foamy head. I sense the nutmeg, sugar and cinnamon more prominent than other brews I have tried. Smooth washdown. Less drier than I anticpated. It’s like a brew you enjoy as an appetizer or a nightcap. Nice brew.

Malt aroma with a light pumpkin smell. Hazy orange color with a small white head. Moderate pumpkin and malt flavor. Full palete. ddemmingjr (800) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - NOV 25, 2013
Big bottle- pours clear burnt orange, minimal tan head. Nose is lots of spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, mild citrus and then pumpkin vegetal notes and some bread malts. Expected more spice on the tongue but the vegetal pumpkin notes come through. Thinnish with not much hop bitterness and some sweetness but the spices fade quite a bit for what the nose suggests. Drinkable pumpkin beer but the body is lacking.

Dark Orange, clear appearance. Aroma is Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Taste is Pumpkin, Chalk, Formaldehyde. Thin feel, no carbonation. Disappointed that the Rogue finished so low in my Pumpkin Beer Evaluation.

This is the best pumpkin beer with raw pumpkin flavors that I have had. Raw flavors balance the light holiday spice flavors. Body is a little light for my liking but other than that, very balanced! puboflyons (3431) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 22, 2013
From the 750 ml. bottle The pour is a nice looking mahogany brown with a modest off-white head that settles down after a few minutes. The aroma brings out the expected pumpkin spices I would expect from the style with a toasted malty sweetness thrown in. The body is medium. The taste emphasizes the maltiness more than the pumpkin and spices which made it pretty good but a slight letdown from the aroma. I kind of liked it.
