Pours dark amber with small off-white head. Pumpkin and nutmeg aroma, low carbonation, and little lacing Taste is heavy pumpkin and some nutmeg. Had side by side with Southern Tier Pumking, Pumking won out. cfrancis (3405) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 31, 2013
Pours brownish orange with a wisp of off white top. Aroma is soft pumpkin spice and earthy caramel malts. Taste is soft pumpkin spice with light bitterness and toffe in the malt. Nice not overbearing pumpkin beer. Ed5388 (3448) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - OCT 31, 2013
750ml bottle from Crossroads Spirits. Pours a murky ugly brown color with a finger of creamy tan head. Aroma of fresh pumpkin, caramel, pumpkin pie spice (lots of clove and cinnamon), and some floral hop notes. Taste of roasted pumpkin seeds, caramel malt, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, grass, yeast, and a subtle pumpkin pie aftertaste. Doghair (312) - Illinois, USA - OCT 31, 2013
Nice nutty roasted pumpkin aroma. Taste reminds me of a pumpkin brown ale maybe? The pumpkin blends well with the malt flavors. One of the best I’ve had. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - OCT 31, 2013
Pours a medium amber color with a finger of foam. The nose is subtle pumpkin pie with a touch of earthy spice and toasted marshmallow. The palate follows the nose with a more restrained pumpkin presence and just a touch of spice. Nice little bitterness cleans up the palate on the finish.

pours a medium orange/brown with a large light tan head that quickly dissipates. There is a medium pumpkin flavor and a mild pie spice, it is lightly sweet and quite bitter. I think it is over carbonated!! skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 29, 2013
On tap at Urge. Pours a reddish amber with a thin tan head which quickly fades to nothing. Aroma is pumpkin meat, pie spices, toasted sweet malts, caramel, and some light brown sugar. Taste is a little muted compared to the aroma and has some light soda water notes. Has a medium-light body with a watery mouthfeel and a semi dry, mostly sweet, medium, slightly fizzy finish. Overall, a decent pumpkin ale that as too thin of a body a is probably too over carbonated has several other raters have pointed out. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - OCT 29, 2013
Below average pumpkin ale sadly. Spice and pumpkin flavor are there, but they compete with one another instead of cooperating. No sweetness, and the base beer is thin. Disappointed. C+/B-

Bottle (and a cool one). Pours a dark orange-amber, little evident head. Not a whole heck of a lot of evident aroma coming off this either, but IMHO that’s an OK thing, ’cause sometimes gourd beers can be over the top. This drinks with a very well mellowed and integrated pumpkin character inside an easy-drinking ale. Smooth and quaffable all the way, this has just the right kiss of squash and cinnamon. Tap. Dark amber. Subtle pumpkin spice aroma. Very smooth throughout. Well balanced, but I could have used more of a hit.
