Formerly Chatoe Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale.

The newest addition to the Chatoe Rogue series is Pumpkin Patch Ale, a beer made using fresh pumpkins grown in a patch that borders Rogues 42 acre hop yard. The pumpkins are picked, loaded into Rogues farm truck, driven immediately 77 miles to our brewery in Newport, quickly roasted, and pitched into the brew kettle to create a batch of Pumpkin Patch Ale.

Good flavor for an ale, on the light side for a pumpkin beer, understandable for the style. Mild aroma with a strong ABV for an ale. Drank from orange pint bottle chosen by a pumpkin beer fan friend.---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copper pour. Nose of fruity pumpkin, caramel, and mild diacetyl. Flavor of chewy caramel and fruity pumpkin. Not sure if this one has spices added, but very faded if they were. Faint butter. Slick. Not bad.

Bottle, thanks to Dan, SX Bottle Share, Chelmsford, Essex, 1st December 2015. Hazy and well-carbonated. Copper-bronze appearance. White lacing. Huge pumpkin seed aroma. Some spices and spruce. Taste is a clean English bitter base with a lot of pumpkin. For pumpkin beer this is ok.

750 ml bottle. Clear deeper orange copper, tan foam settles quickly and mostly fades. Spiced roasted pumpkin aroma. Taste is toasty pumpkin, semi-sweet caramel malt, baking spices. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, lightly hopped. Better than most. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Bottle at home. Aroma is light roasted notes, earthy pumpkin, lightly spiced. I think the best thing about this beer is that you can actually taste the pumpkin in it. Not the spices or added "pumpkin" flavors, but real, roasted pumpkin that has a roasted, earthy flavor. Not too sweet and spiced just right. Good stuff.

Poured from a bomber. Pours an orangey, maple brown with a thin beige head. Spices are strong on the aroma, cinnamon and nutmeg present, along with pumpkin to a lesser extent. Taste touches on the same notes as the aroma with some sweetness (but not too much) and a touch of vanilla, which is a nice finish. The feel is medium/light and the carbonation is airy in a somewhat unpleasant way. Overall this is a very well balanced pumpkin and a good dessert beer.
