Nice vegetal pumpkin aroma with a slight bit of spice and wood. Crystal clear medium amber/orange color with a small but foamy white head. The aromas follow directly into the flavor, but the pumpkin comes out fully with a delicious flavor that’s fresh, not cooked. The spices are right there but in perfect balance and strength with cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Body is thin, maybe a bit watery, but it seems about right for this beer which without the pumpkin/spice would be a nice amber ale. The spices and pumpkin swirl around and finish out cleanly with lasting tastes of both. Light, well balanced and tasty, this is one of the best pumpkin ales I’ve had. Pours clear, dark amber. Tan, foamy head. Strong pumpkin aroma, hint of molasses and cinnamon. Pumpkin forward taste, with notes of pie crust, a hint of spice. Medium body, with a slick, almost film-like texture. Soft carbonation. Light, lingering spice finish. I find this to have an excellent balance between the pumpkin and spice notes, enough to complement each other without overwhelming. Pretty pleased with this one. Poured clear amber colour with a fluffy white head and visible carbonation. Aroma is bready malts accompanied by notes of cinnmon and cardamom. Flavor is upfront front with a sweet herbal pumpkin and clove with faints hints of spice. Light-medium bodied with moderate bitterness and a crisp dry finish. I’d say that this is good for those who would like to see what pumpkin tastes like in a beer without the candied richness. bubblehouse (1527) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 5, 2015
A nice mellow pumpkin brew. Not to many spices which makes me really enjoy it quite a bit. chadmasontx (28) - - OCT 3, 2015
Amber with white head. Smells of spice and pumpkin. Taste is lots of spice with some vanilla and pumpkin.

Aroma is cinnamon/cardamon/spices/black pepper. The flavor is cloves, mild cardamon, cinnamon, pumpkin, malts and a mix of very light citrus/fruit and slight heat/warming in the finish. FlandersNed (395) - , Indiana, USA - SEP 24, 2015
22oz bottle with a new label. Clear dark copper hue. Decent allspice and pumpkin nose. Same in flavor - needed more pumpkin sweetness & body. vikingguy (1102) - Carver, Minnesota, USA - SEP 20, 2015

October 18th, 2013 - Rogue’s contribution to the Pumpkin Beer wave is a pretty beer. It looks like living amber, bubbling with activity, but deep, dark and almost flirtatious with its vegetal blush. The aroma is alluring, too, nice and restrained, but giving off clear hints of the gourd. Underneath, and excavated with a little aggressive sniffing is the pumpkin pie sweetness, minus the crust of said pie. Sweet, but not candied, and not too much sugar. Of all the elements of a good pumpkin pie, this is most closely related to the canned pumpkin, but lower, slower, and a little more rubinesque. The carbonation is very healthy, and helps prop up a heavy body, although you can see its knees wobbling a bit. The aftertaste is dry, focused on the botanical touches of the pumpkin, like a cooked slice of pumpkin flesh sprinkled with sugar. And the foretaste is sweeter, though harder to catch through that first rush of bubbles. The vegetable bitterness and herbal quality is laced in there with a dash of sugar. All throughout the mouthfeel is really doing an excellent job of pushing the beer’s positive qualities, while the flavor is also solid, but just a little overshadowed by an excellent palate. All in all, this is a great pumpkin beer, and outstrips a lot of the little orange bottles that sprout in liquor stores around this time. George999 (457) - Colorado, USA - MAY 19, 2015
Pour from the bottle is clear and orange in color with a medium white head, the aroma is spiced, pumpkin, malts and a little bit of cinnamon, the taste is spice forward with a little vanilla and hints a pumpkin at the end. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is like you ate a slice of pumpkin pie few minutes ago.
