Pleasant malty aroma with some orange citrus and lightly spicy hop notes. Opaque golden body is topped by a decent white head that recedes quite rapidly to a thin but lasting cover. Flavour follows the nose. Its pretty simple, and straight forward with moderate bitterness. Creamy texture and decent effervescence make for a very nice mouthfeel but overall this is a pretty middle of the road, quaffable pint. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in July 2010.

Perhaps a hint of haze, just not a bright amber color. Moderate and stable off-white head. Light herbs to floral aroma. Hints of floor and caramel malts. Seems quite traditional. It seems like a scent from a cask. Nothing particularly overpowering or exciting, but a solid ale scent. Fairly light and crisp in feel. Flavors follow the aromas and are quite crisp as well. Lightly sweet. With just a hint of bitterness for balance. Lightly toasted and hints of caramel. Dry herbs mingle slightly. A nice simple ale. 2/10

This pours a semi-hazy, straw yellow color with a slight white head. The aroma is grassy/grainy. The flavor is well-balanced for the style with the prefect texture. There is a decent amount of earthy, organic flavors. It finishes with a lingering, grassy grain flavor. Interesting and yet quite simple.

Aroma is fresh clove, yeast, lemon grass and light sweet malts. Taste is a sweet light fresh maltiness with an immediate tartiness the finishes with a slight bitterness but not overpowering. Appearance is a hazy gold with a fluffy pearl head that retains well.

Bottle. Sour milk, orange malt and orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Okay but boring.

Bottle: slightly hazed orange, with a thick beige head.....bubbly. Slightyly bready, orange, floral scent. Taste is fruit, light breadheel, toffee malt. Heavily malted, creamy..... Earth and root notes. Pretty tasty.

"A touch fruity and dense. Not a whole lot goin on overall. Some bitterness in the finish is the only hint at complexity. Not a bad brew, but very one dimensional.
