6/27/17. On tap at Jefferson’s, Rome. Thanks, Mike! Amber pour with a small khaki head. Light bready aroma, malt, caramel. Clean flavor, bread, crust, caramel. Not bad. drfabulous (8577) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUN 5, 2017
Draught at brewery. Deep orange pour. Bit of must in taste and nose. Not much depth or body. mike67 (1268) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 16, 2017
On tap at Dalton. Pours light brown with white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of caramel and hint of hops. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is of caramel malt, some coffee and herbal hops. Finish is long, sweet first then becomes dry. OK brew. oobawa (1737) - Tennessee, USA - NOV 16, 2016
UPDATED: DEC 20, 2016 Good cause, mediocre beer. Sweet, with a bread-n-honey malt front, with a modestly hopped finish that leans towards bananas-n-butter. Tastes like a better Yuengling, which may or may not be a compliment.

Sampled at Classic City Brewfest 2016. Pours a hazy brownish red with thin tan head that leaves light lace. Aroma of burnt caramel and vanilla notes over a hint of fruity yeast. Taste is more toward the caramel malt and clean finish. I’m almost positive this was barrel aged but my notes don’t say so, otherwise a decent bock. Tmoney99 (14968) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 2, 2015
Poured clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate complex toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate dark sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew. chinchill (5314) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 29, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 28, 2015 On tap at the brewery (2X). IBU = 35.
Excellent clarity in the golden body; good head and very good lacing.
Aroma: spicy baked bread. Herbal hops
This is malty for style (the "imperial" part?) despite a normal hop load. Hints of toffee and baked fruits.
O: a fine looking, very malty maibock. tnkw01 (1800) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 26, 2014
Tap. Dark amber in color. Aroma was roasted cereal. Taste was a tad more hops then one would expect, toast and grains almost like a dark Mai Bock. shadey (2152) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 20, 2014
On tap at East Nashville Beer Festival 2014. Orange amber color. Sweet and malty with a nice bock smell. Very easy to drink and enjoyable. Good.
