Tasting @ Cellarbrations Carlisle Carpark Brewday.
Yellow gold, sparkling with a tidy white crown. Buttery, slightly vegetal aroma with just a hint of pilsner malt coming through. Unclean palate similar to the nose. Soapy mouthfeel. There is background malt and peppery hops but it didn’t come through on the day. One for a re-rate.
Draught at the brewery, Margaret River. A clear and bright golden yellow with a small and mostly fading, somewhat lasting white head. Light floral aromas with citrus, tropical fruits and delicate pale malts, the latter to taste particularly. Light to mid-weight with soft to medium carbonation and moderate length and intensity finish. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 26, 2014
Tap at Trustee Dinner. Thanks to Lex for rebrewing this. The reviews on this surprise me. Unless Alex refined it or changed it in someway I really thought this was a stellar Pils. Clean in all aspects with some mild tropical fruits coming through and astringent bitterness to cut it all off to a crisp finish. I dug it crippledbrewer (45) - - NOV 16, 2013
This beer is a light golden coloured with a fluffy head, slightly malty and hoppy aroma. The taste was the same as the aroma but fairly week, this is obviously the beer that they brew for the tasteless masses to keep them happy when they visit. varanid99 (1282) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 4, 2013
Light gold pour with decent white head. Malty, citrusy nose. Similar flavours but seemed a bit weak - probably my least favorite of what was on offer. bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 23, 2012
Clear pale golden body, citrus notes on the aroma, also coming through in the taste, crisp and dry, not big in body and not too bitter. Refreshing.
