Drought. Dark brown color, spongy brown-beige big head, strong whisky aroma mixed with coffee beans, sweetish bourbon taste, long finish. The barrel seemed to have a very strong influence!
Draft. Pours near black with a brown head. Burnt malty aroma, with coffee, and a light bourbony sweetness. The flavor doesn’t have a ton of bourbon, but it is there, with roasted malts, coffee, toasted grains, and light oaky notes. Pretty good. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 25, 2012

On tap at Stags Head for holiday Monday lunch. Tastes of bourbon, and dark fruit, cola, and chocolate when u drink it, however it’s surprisingly thin for a barrel aged stout.
