On tap at Blind Tiger on 9/15/07: Pours a hazy copper orange with a nicely-lacing frothy white head. Fresh, piny grapefruity hoppy aroma has nice caramel malty sweetness. Body starts full and sticky caramely sweet with some floral resiny hops toward a sticky bittersweet finish. A malty, enjoyable IPA. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - SEP 15, 2007
Tap @ Blind Tiger. Poured a hazy copper color with an off-white. Citrusy aroma with a semi-sweet base. Caramel and a little nutty. Hops start in the flavor quickly piney and citrus. Malt fades to a full hop flavor and bitterness. Medium body. golubj (1377) - San Mateo, California, USA - AUG 30, 2007
Cask at Blind Tiger. Not much aroma on this one, but a little bit of hops. The hop flavor was nice, mainly citrus / grapefruit. The mouthfeel was good, not too much like fruit juice (which can seem to happen with casks). Good amount of bitterness and tasty overall. pivo (2685) - GERMANY - JUL 15, 2007
Dark amber color, low frothy head. Hop nose of course. Grainy malt body, citrus notes in the middle, bitter end--spicy at times. OK, but really not so thrilling. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - APR 12, 2007
Tap at CBC. Very hazy deep amber coloured beer with a thick off-white head. Very creamy. Fresh cascadey hop aroma, grapefruit, light pine and a soft fruity note as well. Light pale malt sweetness as well. Warming brings up a soft spicy note. Flavour is well-hopped showing off the freshness of the hops. Grapefruit and light pine flavour with a soft resinousness on the back. Nice balance. I wouldn’t say it’s terribly distinctive, but it is well made.

Tap at Barcade: Deep rusty orange pour topped by a stable off-white head. There’s a decent fruity hop aroma. Some soft citrus notes and a light peachy character. There’s a decent creamy mouthfeel, with medium carbonation. Full hop flavor. Lots of citrusey (grapefruit) flavors, with a light perfumy middle. There’s just enough malt to hold up the body nicely, and it gives off a peachy sweetness to balance the bitter end of the hop flavors. Finish is fairly long and plesantly bitter. A very solid IPA. I look foward to more of Chelsea’s experimental IPAs. beastiefan2k (3981) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - APR 7, 2007
Oh yeah, my first draft at Blind Tiger, poured into a pint glass. Color is orange with medium clarity. Smell is citrus, mainly grapefruit hops. Taste is all hoppy with too much bitterness and a bit of hop sweetness. sheatripper (863) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - APR 7, 2007
Draught at Blind Tiger. Hazy orange color with a bumpy head. Caramel and citrus aroma. Prominent hops in the nose. Sweet malt infused with a generous dose of grapefruity hops, though still balanced and all around delectable. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - APR 3, 2007
