Hoppy aroma, spicy and citrusy... some combination of williamette and C-hops. Flavour is well-balanced with light resiny hops balancing the sweet caramel malt sweetness. Not a knock-your-socks-off hop monster, but a somewhat restrained interpretation. JCapriotti (1379) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 10, 2005
Pint glass outside at Chelsea Piers. Slightly hazy amber body, creamy thing head, fades into a ring. Slight malty rindy hop aroma. Flavor is a dense citrus piney hops that approaches astringent... stemmy and earthy centennial(?) hops. Pretty good stuff. DavidP (1747) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 5, 2005
Tap. Amber body, average white head. Caramel malt nose w/ sharp green ragweed stem and the requisite grapefruit hops. Aggressive Centennial-ish tops take over the sweet caramel malt. I appreciate the aggressive hopping, it seems rare for a brewpub product. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 4, 2005
Draught at Chelsea Piers.
Charneol colour. Piney hops nose, bit fatty malt feel. Nice laid back IPA with emphasis on the dryness. But it finishes with a big bitterness. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - APR 27, 2005

On draught at Tap-NY. Smells nicely of hops with some floral notes. Taste is on the bitter side and slightly watery. beerslayer (753) - New Jersey, USA - APR 23, 2005
This is an Ok IPA. Had it at Brewtopia. Pine and earthy flavors. Finishes clean, crisp, and dry. hopscotch (11495) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 18, 2005
Draft at Spring Brewtopia 2005... Clear, golden ale with a creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is floral and citrusy with notes of alcohol and butterscotch. Nice malt with a huge hop bite. Medium to full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Crisp, bitter, grassy finish. Lou18 (1353) - West Paterson, New Jersey, USA - APR 18, 2005
Brewtopia ’05. Gold with off white head. Hop aroma with no pronounced hop taste. Good IPA.
