A solid beer with just a nice amount of pumpkin pie finish. Pretty light beer with good color and a small whitish head.

Sample at GABF 10/08/2016, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Hazy dark golden color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lace. Cinnamon, malt and caramel aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of pumpkin pie spice and malt. The finish is sweet with a malt and cinnamon aftertaste. Decent overall. outlawskies (564) - Ohio, USA - OCT 12, 2014

Drought. Hazy dark yellow with creamy beige head, cinnamon aroma, spicy taste, medium carbonation, longish finish. You can actually taste the pumpkin pie if you close you eyes! Nice brew. k0mpsa (3160) - Tuusula, FINLAND - JAN 13, 2014
Tap at smiths, new york. Hazy deep golden color, white head. Aroma is like pie, pumpkin, cinnamon, sweet things. Medium body, cinnamon, pie, pumpkin. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - NOV 26, 2013
Growler filled at Shoreline Beverage and consumed later on the same day. Pours a hazy golden orange with a thin linen white head that is quickly gone and leaves no lace. Pleasant aroma of pumpkin along with cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor begins with pumpkin but lacks any sweetness at all. In fact, it dries out rather quickly and truncates the flavor. The spices are present but muted. It ends up tasty weak and watery with a dry unsatisfying finish. Not a fan.

A very average pumpkin beer, the flavors were muted and bland, with only some of the spices sneaking in. The aroma was nice, but not really worth the money. Jow (4164) - Orlando, Florida, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Tap at the Gingerman. The tap was disturbed and the brew looked like a coffee milkshake but great thanksgiving dessert aromas. Tastes of pumpkin pie including the crust really good. Also get nutmeg, brown sugar, earth, and vanilla but guess that’s more pie flavors. Good stuff DruncanVeasey (8401) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2012
’Pumpkin Pie’, 7.1% according to my notes- presumably this. Tap at the brewery, 17/12/11. Hefe-like haze with a slim fine slick. Alluringly mulled aroma and taste lilke Anna’s swedish biscuits; cinnamon and ginger, finely sieved. No beery notes. Buttered corn on cob. Unashamedly spicy, and why not? Pick of a poor bunch. ben4321 (6827) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 15, 2011
Location: Draft at Ginger Man, 11/12/11
Aroma: The nose is super cinnamony and sweet, an aroma of the season, with pumpkin pie spices
Appearance: This one pours into the glass an orangish color with a nice white head atop it
Flavor: The taste is unsurprisingly rather sweet and dessert like, balanced a touch by the spice hop
Palate: The body of this brew is fairly light, with a smooth mouthfeel and a really nice drinkability
This is a super sweet, but still rather tasty offering, in my opinion. Sure, it is kind of a novelty, but a novelty I enjoyed. I enjoyed it enough that I got 2 in a row, which is something I almost never do a place with the quantity of offerings of a Ginger Man. I’ll freely admit to being a sucker for this one.
