See below for what beaconstreet has to say, he was with me. Props to the bartender for the free sample. I told beaconstreet that appearing to be taking detailed notes whenever we were out would get us bonuses. Reverse Sabotage. As for the beer, I love raspberries. hapy golden coloured beer with a thick white head. Aroma of tart raspberry and light clove spice underneath it. Flavour is similar, raspberry is fairly restrained, it’s there on the front but then drops back leaving a lemony, slightly spicy witbier in its place. Actually quite good. Well-hopped. mgoy (344) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 18, 2009
I had Chelsea Raspberry Wheat on tap at a bar in Manhattan. The beer has an unclear amber red color with a thin head. The aroma is sweet and full of raspberry and wheat aroma. The flavor it sweet with a tart raspberry flavor.
I enjoy everything about this beer except the exagerated tart finish.

Nothing more than the Summer Solstice Wheat with some rasberry flavoring added. I usually am not a fan of this practice but I assume it’s the most cost effective way of doing things, short of charging $18 for a growler. beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 28, 2004
More or less, the MO of making this beer is as eyedrinkale described--Summer Solicetice Wheat (not a bad beer itself), infused with rasperries. Nice bonus in that this one was thrown to us by the bartendress since she saw we were taking notes. Sweet, cereal-fresh raspberry taste. Lovin’ it. Clear looking a bit. Looking slightly thing--but almost the award winning golden of its cousin. JAF737300 (1291) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2007
This beer pours dark gold with a decent head. The notes of the berries show thorugh the aroma into a bit of a muted mouthfeel. It does not over power the flavor of the wheat on the mouthfeel. The palate is clean with some decent finish notes of the hops. caesar (7097) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 27, 2010
Tap @ Boston/NY 2009. Slight fruity note, raspberry, wheat. Dryish. Slight sourish and not very sweet, which is a good thing. But im not a big fan of dominant raspberry. BillKismet (4041) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Cloudy peach-wheat color, ok head. Gentle, whispering coalescence of raspberry and wheat, kissed by honeysuckle delights the olfactory senses. Medium-bodied with a generic berryish alcohol flavor. Wheaty fullness. Sweet raspberry sugar finish.
