The beer looks amazing. The color is a beautiful full dark brown, with an amber glow. The beer is very cloudy, which fits the unfiltered style. On top of the beer, a nice layer of brown soft foam is formed. It looks very nice. The smell is good. It has a lovely sour touch. The beer also has delicious aromas of roasted barley, and soft sweet malts. There isn’t a lot of hop in it. I like the taste. It’s very malty. There are a few hints of roasted barley. The beer has a nice sweet base, with delicate sweets and sours on top. It’s in very good balance. My first Ukranian beer, and I’m not disappointed. pinia (430) - Lviv, UKRAINE - JUL 20, 2016

Tried long ago and remember it was more bitter and more "roasted" then dark beer from Slavutych. evilempire (158) - sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 4, 2008
the best beer I tried during my visit to Ukraine, though it has to be said the bar was not set particularly high. dark ruby, the alcohol tasted a little industrial, and overpowered the dark malts and left the beer a little sweet, not helped by the use of caramel and not many hops Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 25, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Dark caramel colour with a creamy, beige head. Sweetish caramel colour. Very solid body with plenty of roasted malt and - again - caramel. Warming alcohol and a dry, hoppy finish. Very classical Bock - if not exactly sofisticated. 251205
