This is one of those situations where a hole in the wall brewery will surprise the hell out of you. Bold, beautiful malts in this one. The taste isn’t well supported by the body though, and they could use a few hops in here for accent.
From old tasting notes. Orange Amber color. Big tan head. Fragrant spicy malt aroma. Tart bittersweet malt flavor upfront. Interesting sour malt in middle. Spicy citrus hops in finish. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - DEC 16, 2003
Amber color with a thin lid of off white bubbles. Caramel dominates both the aroma and flavor. Reaaly nothing more than a contracted amber. Been there done that. 21iceman40 (1735) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 19, 2001
I was damn near impressed with this beer. It was lacking that overall push over the edge to make it a great beer. Still, it was solid and overall a good beer.

Not as famous as its Cherry cousin, but the only one I have tried. It has big buttery maltiness sadly unbalanced to the point that it eventually gets to be too much.
