on tap at Volo.
Clear orange/golden pour, with a small white head.
aroma is very herbal, grassy hops, lots of minerals, and some hard woodiness. Good mouth fee, solid carbonation. The flavor was quite hard, bitter wood, minerals, and some odd yeasty bready bitterness. not very good.

I tried this beer on tap on October 7, 2011 at "C’est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer was a golden orange in colour with a thin snow white creamy head. The aroma was pineapple, citrus, and grains. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was tropical fruit sweetness and some grassy maltiness. Went down very easily for a 5.9% ABV beer.
Note: After finishing the beer, the bartender informed that she also thought it was pineapple we smelled and tasted, but it was in fact mango and peach.
On tap at the Only Cafe. Pours a lightly cloudy golden colour with modest-sized white head. Aroma is fruity/floral and toasty grains. Flavour has floral hops, fruit, toasty grains and grass. Moderate bitterness in finish. Not bad. Radek Kliber (7352) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - NOV 25, 2011

Aroma herbal, grassy with slight citrus. Hint if lemon grass. Subtle.
Appearance clean amber , hint of gold. Mid white top, some rings of lace shown. 3+
Flavor and Palate : Nutty frontal feel. Woody with slight up front citric harshness. Mid accented by tannins. Dry mid end. Bit rough but with good intent.
Appearance: Light orange with a small snow white head. Aroma: grassy, hay, coriander, malt. Flavour: Quite mild at first, hoppy on the tongue, vanilla, grass, sweet finish. Simple and nice.

Pale golden pour with a light haziness. Softly malty with a little bit of soft fruitiness. There is a touch of dirtiness to the aroma along with some light fruit. There is a lot of heavy bitterness on the finish. It’s got a lot of dirty yeast estery character that I can’t say I care for. A bit odd, really. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 12, 2011
[3978-20110922] Tap. Butter cream bitter toffee aroma. Clear, orange amber body with a quick foamy white head. Toasted light fruity grains flavour has a light sour background note. Medium body. Nice, drinkable. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

(Black Oak Tap Takeover, TBW 2011 @ Volo, Toronto, ON)
Draught pint at Burger Bar. Hazy amber, average creamy off white head, nice thick lace. Pungently floral, no alcohol, nice grain. Taste - a little sweet, a little more alcohol. Average body, decent carbonation, fairly long bitter finish. Solid. blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 26, 2011
Draught at "Black Oak Tap Takeover" at Volo. Pours a clear deep gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma’s a buttery, with light UK hops, caramel malt and some fruit. Flavour’s hoppier then the aroma suggests, along with caramel malt, fruit and some grain. Light bitter finish. Average bodied. Nothing exciting but pretty good. Ho-hum pale on-tap at Volo Black Oak takeover. Cloudy apricot coloured body with almost no head. below average mouthfeel. So-so drinkability. I expected more bold flavour from the galaxy, turned up IBU. Almost no aroma, just a very faint whiff of hops.
