Light Copper, Huge Long Lasting Foamy Head, That Left Lots Of Lacing. Faint Hop Aroma. Grainy, Malty, Good Hop Finish, lasting Light Bitter aftertaste. I also had my portion of beers from Stevens Point, WI that were below par but this one was quite good. Whoever says that this one is like a macro, ever did not have a macro in a while and do not remember what they taste or should write me, so I could try a macro that has actual hops in it. Like I’ve said, pretty good for a style that is somewhat bland and is not that exciting. Refreshing and good thirst Quencher. Worth a Try. Bottle: The aroma is pretty nonexistent. There’s just a hint of bread/cereal and grass. It pours a transparent gold with a one finger white head that quickly fades to a thin film. There is some decent thin webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with with a very quick dose of light honey and cereal. The finish has light grass with just a hint of apple. It’s light bodied with moderate-lively carbonation that is a bit prickly at times. Overall, there just isn’t much here. Sure, more flavor than your standard BMC, but this is still pretty bland. I guess you can call it a thirst quencher since there just isn’t much here to get offended by. That also means there’s nothing here to look forward to or get excited about either. There’s certainly worse out there. rumproasts (5427) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 18, 2013
bottle. Golden with small head. Lager with hoppy bite. Like all classic Chicago beers, it’s brewed in Wisconsin. Is there anything good they brew at Stevens Point? b3shine (8940) - Indiana, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Bottle to pint. Looks solid; a transparent golden orange with foamy white head and lively carbonation. Smells and tastes doughy and a little skunky with an average (at best) mouthfeel. Meh. nuplastikk (6313) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 13, 2013
OK...basic lesson: Stevens Point makes bad beer. Buttery offensive aroma. An absolute butter bomb, complete amateur hour swill.. This should never have even been considered to hit the market, Seriously failing on all accounts. Bullshit consumer fraud.

Bottle. Aroma has notes of aromatic hops and caramel malts with a classic lager yeast tone. Golden yellow hue with an average white head that mostly diminished and left no lace. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is medium bodied and with average carbonation. Overall a nice lager. crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 6, 2013
Up front it is nicely herbal and hoppy, finishes watery and plasticy. Half way there. polarisbeerguy (22) - Lake Orion, Michigan, USA - APR 24, 2013
Aroma is neat with a mild appeal my palate caught a dry cherry presence a good lager for session style Christpuncher (3135) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 30, 2012
An average ale at best. Kind of tastes like a less heavy Budweiser. The others beers out of this brewery are much better

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear burnt orange with a thin ring of white head. Aroma of corn and grains with a hint of skunk and a little citrus. Taste is light bitter. Skunky herbal and citrus hops with some corn and grains and a little caramel. . Light bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. I could drink this again, but probably wouldn’t seek it out.
