skunky aroma. small head that disappears quickly. taste is kind of bland. won’t drink again. Palidor19 (3188) - Brandon, Florida, USA - DEC 9, 2013
its too potent is none of the right combination of anything that makes a decent pale ale. the malts and hops don’t work well together and the bitterness is too in your face. tmoreau (4365) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - NOV 30, 2013
12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass, showing a slightly hazed, golden color, with rapidly diminishing, soft white, bubbly head foam, and some wavy ribbons & spots of lacing. The nose was a little dank, lightly floral, with a bit of rind, and some ripened pit fruit notes. Somewhere between medium & light bodied, with lively carbonation, the taste presented hop bitterness that was earthy, rindy, and almost peppery, with lingering astringency, moderate malt influence, and a finish that was bitter and somewhat dry. Not overly exciting in character, but fairly drinkable. Fredis23 (564) - Hickory Hills, Illinois, USA - AUG 3, 2013
Clear Yellow Color Huge Foamy Head That Last and Leaves Lots Of Lacing. Faint Pine Hop Aroma. Lightly Buttery, Malt, Light Citrus and Light Hop Finish. Could be bolder but then again it is pale ale, so what did you expect. No matter what hardcore beer aficionados say, this one is miles away from macros, especially, knowing that it came from Stevens Point WI. Overall quite decent, refreshing and drinkable. Worth at least a try to see it for yourself. OK.. DeliveryDriver (170) - Illinois, USA - JUL 31, 2013
Pours a light, clear golden with a fizzy, white head that dissipates quickly and a little bit of carbonation. Nose has grassy hops and grains. Taste is grassy hops and grains. Not much malt to be detected in this one. Light bodied guzzler with no finish. Not offensive, but not worth buying when domestic lagers are less than half the price.

Pours a crisp golden with a finger of frothy white head that dissipates quickly. Decent lacing and carbonation. Nose is hoppy and citrusy with some sweetness. There is some malt present that is blended with an interesting pineapple/alcohol mix. Mouth is very bitter, but bland. Not a lot of hops at all. Some grain and malt with a stale, salty like taste. The citrus is no where to be found. Not much of a pale ale. wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours a light straw color. Small white head. Some lacing. Grainy aroma. Clean and dry with some mild bitter. I was intrigued by this when I picked it up as a single. Then I realized it wasn’t even brewed in Chicago. Not a terrible beer at all, just very uneventful. Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Bottle. Pale yellow. Sour, citrus and hay. A little malty and thicker than I thought. blackflag321 (689) - Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAY 17, 2013
Bottle pour to shaker. Light straw yellow. Nothing wrong with it, but flavor lacked any amount of malt, hops, or anything distinct. nuplastikk (6277) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 28, 2013
12oz bottle from Srevens Point, d’oh!!!!! Sweet and cheap, with a little more soapy one dimensional hops. Why on Earth would anyone contract brew with Stevens Point? Absolutely loses points for being called Chicago Brewing Company and not even brewing in the state. Buttery bullshit factory extract undertones. I am seriously pissed I bought a six pack of this.
