Cloudy, light gold appearance. Orange peel, though the other Belgian additions aren’t apparent. This is really an American wheat through and through. Picked it up while visiting Chicago with Dave in 2012. ccex (1350) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 16, 2012
12 oz bottle pours a hazy yellow with small white head that doesn’t last long. Smells like a Belgian White should. Aroma has lemon, grass, honey, and light spices (coriander?). Body is light to medium, with very little carbonation. Tastes sweet but mouthfeel is flat. Not bad, but I won’t seek this again. Pours cloudy, lemonade/gold with a tall white head.
Scent is wheat, spice, citrus...
Taste is sweet but sharp lemon/orange. Wheat.
Slightly tart to sour as it goes.
Ok...but a little too little of everything. ruckus232 (1) - Lockport, Illinois, USA - JUN 1, 2012 does not count
Refreshing with a good taste but a little mild and could use a little more flavor. Would probably have again. shrubber85 (11570) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 9, 2012
Bottle. Orange zest, coriander, and wheat malt aroma. Hazy pale yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet lemon, coriander and light wheat malt flavor. Light body. Not bad but wish it had more malt flavor.
