pours golden and clear with a white head which leaves behind drippy rings of lacing.
the nose is really floral... slightly waxy/resinous, grapefruit, pith and mildly sweet pale malt.
the palate is lightly pale malty sweet mixed with flavors of grapefruit pith, lots of resinous pine, orange and a spicy dry finish.
the medium body feels a bit harsh, dry and waxy. 6/3/6/3/12/3.0 sebletitje (10282) - Enghien, BELGIUM - MAY 15, 2009
Sampler @ 4 Queens, Vegas.
pours amber/copper, white head.
Aroma, good hops, but comes out with an aroma that had too much bad medical like smell.
Taste, hops are just strong here, with a great pine forest character.
Finish gives a lingering bitter mouthfeel that come sout being too spicy on the palate. PhatB420 (841) - Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 14, 2009
The brew that hit the palate was no where near the delightfullness that I expected. Sampled straight out of the brew pub at the vegas locaton, this beer has nothing more to offer than a name. Highly disengaged. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - APR 17, 2009

On tap in vegas 4 Queens on the Old Strip: Poured a hazy gold color. Smell is pine and citrus. Taste is sweet carmel and hops. A little dry going down, but still very refreshing. The best one they had on tap at the time. Little too pricey as well. torourke (7) - West Melbourne, Florida, USA - JUL 14, 2008 does not count
This is my favorite beer at the Chicago Brewing Company at the Four Queens. It’s floral and fruity with plenty of hops added after the boil. The mouth feel is a little light for me and that is it’s weakest point. I’m guessing that the hops are the C variety (Cascade among others.) This is a light refreshing IPA and well worth the coin. kmeves (1098) - Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 15, 2008
Pours a slightly hazy dark golden with a tiny buubled white head and nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweet caramel malt, big pine and citrus. Flavor is light caramel malt flavor and a nice complement of NW American hops. Somewhat unbalanced, if I had to put my finger on it I would say that very high alpha acid hops were used in the late kettle additions (Warrior or Columbus). jujubeast6000 (854) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 17, 2008
(Sampler @ 4 Queens, Las Vegas, NV): Pours a pale yellow-amberish color. Some white head, lasting. Very little aroma, maybe a little IPAish, bitter. Good bitter taste. A little too bitter. Some grapefruit, piney. Fantomasus (291) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 15, 2008
From a growler. Pours a semi-cloudy amber with a bubbly white head. Smells of hops, apricots, and fresh cut grass (in a good way). Taste is hops and more hops. I like it.
