COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
CBC’s medal winning old town brown is a German-style brown ale. This beer has a clean well rounded dark malt character which creates a mild chocolate aroma and flavor. Colder fermentation temperatures and long cellaring time makes our brown a truly smooth all round brew.

Draught at the brewery. Pours brown with a medium, frothy tan head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is medium rich toasted bread malt with light chocolate malt notes and light woody hops. Flavor is moderate toasted bread malt, light chocolate malt notes with light woody hops and bitterness, dates and a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

Medium brown. Weak nose makes ya work for anything, but a nice cocoa and caramel flavor going on. Not enough to want more than the sample.

Brown in color with a white head. Standard toasted malt aroma and taste. Clean, no pff flavor, light sweetness. Notes: On tap at the brewery during the Epic Vegas Brewery Tour of ’17

BlackHaddock (7570) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2014
Part of the 9 sample selection I had inside the Four Queens Casino, in Downtown Las Vegas on 20th July 2014. Light brown with a weak tanned topping for a head. The nose was a little hard to find, some nuts and a semi-sweet malt aroma maybe. The flavour followed the same lines. Mild sweetness from the malts with a nut trace or two. Medium bodied and decent enough.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8069) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was dryish wood and a touch of nut. The flavor was dry, roasty and bitter with a sour malty note and a hint of dark fruit. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Not a bad brown, carbonation pretty good, not much head, caramel aroma, somewhat lean buy drinkable. Had at four queens

(draft @ Chicago Brewing Company in Four Queens Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas, NV) Light brown pour with a thin tan head. Nutty and sweet malt aroma that fades quickly. The flavor is much the same. Light sweetness with a nutty and malty middle that fades away quickly. A bit more punch and it would’ve been a lot better.
