Pours a hazy golden orange color with a thin white head. Good retention. Aroma is yeast and banana. Unfortunately, those are much weaker in the flavor and the taste is dominated by wheat and an astringent band-aid flavor. Not a good hef. hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 5, 2009
hazy golden color with a frothy white head.
musty aroma with notes of banana, yeast, faint spice and flowers.
the flavor is the same... add in some orange, medicine/rubberbands and a yeasty aftertaste.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a cloudy pale yellow color with a thin ivory colored head that dissipates steadily. Thin rings of lacing. Aroma of wheat and banana. Light, clean body with flavors of wheat, banana and a touch of cloves. The finish is fruity and leaves a mild spice and wheat aftertaste. Fairly straightforward and average all around. jujubeast6000 (854) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 17, 2008

12-1-07 tap at the brewery lb4lb (2629) - Austin, Texas, USA - DEC 6, 2007
Cloudy, yet thin and watery yellow in appearance. Smells of orange rind, lemon and cloves. Taste is bland and boring. It has hints of that hefeweizen taste - but not much at all. Not a style I like and a very weak representative of the style!
Cloudy murky pale yellow pour. Smell is light clove, and the standard in hefeweizen yeast, but muted somewhat. Some wheat in the taste and light clove along with an enjoyable wheat finish. This was decent and one of their better beers, although I don’t typically enjoy the style a lot.
